    • A compact-type gas-insulated switchgear apparatus is disclosed, in which movable contacts of a disconnector and a ground switch arranged in a cable head casing are adapted for switching operation in parallel to the axis of the cable head casing. A connecting conductor connecting stators of the disconnector and the ground switch is arranged in a position perpendicular to the axis of the cable head casing. A connecting opening is formed in the side wall of the cable head casing at a part thereof corresponding to the end of the connecting conductor. It is thus not necessary to increase the diameter of the cable head casing for the movable contacts of the disconnector and the ground switch performing substantially parallel operation, and other electrical equipment may be connected along the extention of the connecting conductor connecting the stators of the disconnector and the ground switch without modifying the cable head casing.

    • A bus bar connecting arrangement for a gas insulated switchgear designed to reduce the overall size thereof and the number of component parts, thereby decreasing the required installation space and trimming the production costs. The bus bar connecting arrangement comprises: a pair of first and second bus bars disposed in a spaced apart relation with each other; a first and a second disconnecting switch unit connected in the first and second bus bars, respectively; a circuit interrupter provided with a single opening and including at least one pair of movable and stationary contacts for opening and closing an electrical circuit connecting between the first and second bus bars; a current transformer unit adapted to be interposed between the first and second bus bars and the circuit interrupter and having at least one current transformer; first connecting conductors extending from the first bus bar into the circuit interrupter through the current transformer unit and the opening in the circuit interrupter for electrical connection between the first bus bar and the movable contact of the circuit interrupter; and second connecting conductors extending from the second bus bar into the circuit interrupter through the current transformer unit and the opening in the circuit interrupter for electrical connection between the second bus bar and the stationary contact of the circuit interrupter.     • Disclosed is a gas-insulated switchgear in which three circuit breakers are arranged in tandem between a pair of main bus bars spaced apart by a predetermined distance. The connection between the three circuit breakers is such that adjacent circuit breakers are connected by a connecting bus bar to their lead-out parts remoter from each other, and disconnecting switches, etc. are disposed on the connecting bus bars. This arrangement shortens the distance between the adjacent circuit breakers, so that the gas-insulated switchgear can be shortened in the length in the tandem direction of the circuit breakers.
