摘要： A sealable casing having a quarter-turn closing arrangement including a basic body defining an orifice at one end having radially projecting arcuate members and clearances formed along thereof. The casing further includes a cap having radially projecting arcuate members and clearances formed along thereof. The arcuate members and clearances of the cap are complementary to the arcuate members and clearances of the casing body and combine to define a bayonet sub-assembly. Extensions extend from the cap and are biased by resilient elements which permit locking the cap in a closed position. The extensions are secured to a drive handle mounted underneath a bail of the cap.

摘要： Locks for security grills used on doors or windows tend to be structurally complicated, and consequently expensive to produce and/or install. A relatively simple lock assembly for use with a security grill includes a box for mounting on one edge of a grill, a slot in one side of the box for opposing the frame of the door or window when the grill is closed, a plate for mounting on the outside of the frame in opposition to the box, whereby the plate completely covers the slot when the grill is closed, a bolt extending through the plate for rotatable mounting in the frame in alignment with the slot, an ear on the outer end of the bolt for insertion through the slot into the box when the grill is moved to the closed position, and a handle on the inner end of the bolt for rotating the latter between a release position in which the ear can be inserted into or removed from the box via the slot and a locked position in which the ear is retained by a projection in the box. By providing a helical spring in a sleeve extending into the frame from the sleeve and outwardly against the slot containing side of the box, the box is biased outwardly to increase the locking effect of the projection on the ear.

摘要： A vandal resistant shrouded slide bolt lock assembly is provided and consists of a shroud guide and a staple secured to a plate that is secured near and edge of a door. A bracket is secured to a wall frame so that when the door is closed an end portion of the shroud guide will cover the bracket allowing a slide bolt to manually enter the bracket and an aperture in the end portion of the shroud guide while a hasp will contact with the staple. A bushing rotatively mounted on said slide bolt between said shroud guide and said hasp to prevent tampering and cutting of said bushing and said slide bolt therein.

A back plate for mounting on the door. An upper pair of flange members extending outwardly from the back plate and with each upper flange member including a first opening. A lower pair of flange members extending outwardly from the back plate and with each lower flange member including a second opening for receiving the bale portion of the padlock. A handle and locking member attached to the sliding bolt and including a first upwardly extending portion forming a handle for sliding the bolt within the first openings in the upper pair of flange members and including a second downwardly extending portion located between the lower pair of flange members. The handle and locking member having a third opening corresponding to the second openings in the lower pair of flange members and with the third opening in association with either one of the second opening for receiving the bale portion of the padlock to lock the sliding bolt in either of two positions. A stationary safety cover attached across the front of and spaced from the back plate to enclose the sliding bolt, the upper and lower pairs of flanges and the downwardly extending portion of the handle and locking member.

摘要： A safe and tamper-resistant lock assembly for sliding glass doors and the like for securely locking a slidable door in a closed or partially opened position. The lock assembly includes a specially configured bracket which is mounted upon the stationary frame assembly of the door unit. The bracket has an inverted J-shaped channel and an elongated wall defining a plurality of apertures including one aperture which is positioned to overlie an aperture in the slidable frame of the door when the door is in a closed position and another aperture which is positioned to overlie the aperture in the slidable frame when the door is in a partially opened position. A specially configured locking key is provided with a cylindrical shank having an arcuate locking cam for lockably engaging the inverted J-shaped channel of the bracket when the shank is inserted into the aperture in the slidable frame and into one of the apertures in the bracket. Desirably, a specially designed impact-resistant grommet is provided for snap-fitting engagement into the aperture in the slidable frame of the door.
