摘要： A system and method are provided for authenticating a user using a client side server within a computer network, the computer network operating in conformance with an open source initiative (OSI) model of structuring protocol data unit messages, the method comprising: generating a connection request at a client side server, the connection request including (i) a client side network layer protocol address information for use in a network layer (L3) protocol data unit (PDU), and (ii) a client side transport layer protocol address information for use in a transport layer (L4) PDU; transmitting the connection request from the client side server using both the network layer and the transport layer; receiving at the client side server an authentication call message on both the network and transport layers using the client side network layer protocol address information and client side transport layer protocol address information; transmitting user authentication information in response to the received authentication call message; and receiving connection confirmation based on the transmitted user authentication information confirming the user is authenticated to access protected systems.

摘要： Embodiments of the disclosure are directed to implementing a router Media Access Control (MAC) Ethernet switch in a network. An Ethernet-over-Dense Wave Division Multiplexing (DWDM) packet switch system includes a transport switching element communicatively coupled to one or more routers in a client layer and communicatively coupled via a photonic switching layer with a plurality of transport switching elements forming a transport layer; wherein the transport switching element is configured to flood addresses, in the transport layer, associated with the one or more routers to disseminate learned end-point addresses of the one or more routers so that service-based addressing is resolved by the transport layer. The addresses from the client layer are flooded in the control plane which is a lower layer control plane relative to the client layer to allow the transport switching element and the plurality of transport switching elements to use of the addresses.

摘要： A system communicates packets of data between two computers starting at an initial rate. The system then enters a slow start mode and increases the rate. As the rate increases, the system monitors acknowledgement data indicating a round trip time (RTT) associated with individual packets. When the RTT meets or exceeds a threshold, the system exits the slow start mode and continues the background connection a selected rate. The selected rate is based on the acknowledgement data associated with one or more packets having an RTT that meet or exceed the threshold. The features disclosed herein mitigate some of the issues with the LEDBAT protocol and other congestion control techniques, some which may include queue overflows and unnecessary slowdowns.

摘要： Embodiments of an eNB and method for supporting communication with UEs on an LTE network in an unlicensed frequency band are generally described herein. The eNB may be configured to transmit a first LTE signal that includes a first reference signal during an active transmission period of a Wi-Fi network in the unlicensed frequency band, and to restrict frequency spectra used for the transmission of the first LTE signal from frequency spectra used by the Wi-Fi network during the active transmission period. The first reference signal may enable maintenance of synchronization between the eNB and the UEs at least during the active transmission period. The eNB may be further configured to transmit a second LTE signal during a silence period of the Wi-Fi network in frequency spectra used by the Wi-Fi network during the active transmission period.

摘要： Some embodiments provide a method for implementing a logical router in a network. The method receives a definition of a logical router for implementation on a set of network elements. The method defines several routing components for the logical router. Each of the defined routing components includes a separate set of routes and separate set of logical interfaces. The method implements the several routing components in the network. In some embodiments, the several routing components include one distributed routing component and several centralized routing components.
