The egress node is configured to receive, from the ingress node, a group of packets via the network path, where each packet includes an operations, administration, and management (OAM) field appended to the packet, and where the OAM field stores OAM information. The egress node is further configured to read the OAM information from the packets; analyze the OAM information, associated with one or more of the packets, to determine that a network condition exists on the network path; and notify the ingress node that the network condition exists to permit the ingress node to perform a rerouting operation.

摘要： A flow-driven forwarding strategy includes receiving an Interest packet, where the interest packet includes a flow state indicator. The content associated with the Interest packet is checked to determine whether that content is locally stored. Another check is performed to determine whether any previously received Interest packet has requested the content. In response to the content not being locally stored and no related Interest packet has been previously received, the flow state indicator is checked in the Interest packet. In response to the flow state indicator indicating that the Interest packet is associated with an active flow, forwarding information is extracted from a flow state table if a hop count has a value of zero or from the Interest packet if the hop count has a value greater than zero. The Interest packet is then forwarded to a next hop in accordance with the forwarding information.

The EPS bearer setup message may include an attention indicator for the PS service that indicates whether traffic for the PS service is attended or unattended at the UE. The eNB may further transmit traffic packets to and receive traffic packets from the UE 102 as part of the PS service. In addition, the eNB may use the attention indicator as part of congestion control in the network.

The method includes checking if a resource for data to be transmitted to the Node B is available, when there is a buffer status report triggered to be transmitted to the Node B; transmitting the buffer status report by using the available resource, if the resource is available; and transmitting a scheduling request to the Node B, if the resource has not been allocated for a predetermined time after the buffer status report is triggered.

摘要： Random access operation is performed under a communication environment in which a plurality of communication modes having different transmission rate coexist with small overhead. A high-grade communication station spoofs information of a packet length and a rate in a decoding portion so that a value of (packet length)/(rate) corresponds to a duration where the communication is hoped to be stopped. The other station receiving the spoofed information receives the rest of the packet with the designated rate during the interval designated by the value of (packet length)/(rate). In this case, the packet length and the rate are not those of actually transmitted packet so that this packet is discarded.
