    • An indoor antenna having a cover body with a panel cover, a coax cable panel, and a coax cable. The panel cover has an edge and at least one first coax cable channel formed in a side of the coax cable panel and is formed through the edge of the panel cover. The coax cable panel is mounted in the cover body. The coax cable is electrically connected with the coax cable panel, inserted through the panel cover, mounted in one of the at least one first coax cable channel, and extending out of the edge of the panel cover. Therefore, when the indoor antenna is assembled, the coax cable can be arranged firmly without over-bending, such that the indoor antenna sustains good performance and be assembled easily.

    • The invention describes a method for electrically connecting a coaxial conductor (16) to a circuit carrier (12), in particular a printed circuit board. The circuit carrier (12) has a top side (26) and a bottom side (24), and printed conductors (28, 30) are situated at least on the top side (26) of the circuit carrier (12). The coaxial conductor (16) also includes an inner conductor (18) and an outer conductor (22), the coaxial conductor (16) being led, at least partially, from the bottom side (24) of the circuit carrier (12) through a feedthrough (14) provided in the circuit carrier (12). In addition, at least one first contact conductor (34) is used for electrically connecting the outer conductor (22) to at least one first printed conductor (28) of the circuit carrier (12), and at least one second contact conductor (42) is used for electrically connecting the inner conductor (18) to at least one second printed conductor (30) of the circuit carrier (12). The first and the second contact conductors (34, 42) each have a press-in connection at least one of their contact points (32) with the circuit carrier (12) or with the coaxial conductor (16).

    • A coaxial connector includes a contact, a housing, and a shell. The contact includes a contact portion adapted to be connected to a mating contact of a mating connector and a connecting portion adapted to be connected to a signal conductor. The shell includes a first shell portion having a shell contact portion adapted to be connected to a mating shell of the mating connector and a second shell portion having a shell connecting portion adapted to be connected to a ground conductor. When connecting to a connection object, by sandwiching the connection object between the connecting portion of the contact and the shell connecting portion of the shell, the contact portion of the contact is connected to the signal conductor while the shell contact portion of the shell is connected to the ground conductor.

    • A variable impedance interface device for connecting a coaxial connector to an external component is disclosed. The interface device has a housing having a first end adapted to receive a coaxial connector and a second end having an interface where the housing is attachable to an external component, such as a printed circuit board. A cavity within the housing is defined by an inner surface and has a cavity first end and a cavity second end. The inner surface tapers between the cavity first end and the cavity second end. A mating position in the cavity has a certain dimension due to the taper of the inner surface. The mating position defines a location at which a coaxial connector received by the housing positions. An impedance of the housing is based on the mating position and may be varied due to the impedance of the interface such that signal degradation at the interface is reduced.
