    • An overload relay trip mechanism includes a housing, a reset button, a leaf spring, a test button, a coil spring, and an actuator. The reset button can be actuated from a normal position to a reset position to cause the leaf spring to transition from a first position to a second position, which causes a reset actuator-engaging element to move the actuator from a tripped position to a closed position. The test button can be actuated from a normal position to a test-stop position to cause a first test actuator-engaging element to move a moveable contact from an electrically connected position to an electrically disconnected position. The test button can further be moved from the test-stop position to the test-trip position to cause a second test actuator-engaging element to move the actuator from the closed position to the tripped position.

    • A fast acting switching mechanism for a circuit breaker includes a drive rod articulated to a drive module and supporting at an end thereof a contact bridge having at opposite ends thereof respective moveable contacts for switchably engaging a pair of fixed contacts of the circuit breaker. A contact spring unit is operatively coupled to the drive module for applying closing pressure in the order of 200 Kg; and a latch latches the drive rod in an open or closed position after operation of the circuit breaker and prevents rebounds. The contact bridge includes a pair of side conductors supporting on upper edges thereof an armature having an exposed upper surface that supports the moveable contacts at opposite ends of the armature; and a reinforcing element inserted between the side conductors.

    • A movable contact assembly for an electrical switch is provided. In at least one embodiment, the movable contact assembly includes a movable contact and a pair of supports, with each support including a bottom face and a support body perpendicular thereto. In at least one embodiment, each support body includes: a cavity for holding the movable contact disposed symmetrically at each end of a diameter of the bottom face, an inner and outer hook pair extending along the axis of the support body and being disposed symmetrically to the two sides of the diameter; and a projecting tongue and recess pair extending along the axis of the support body and being disposed symmetrically to the two sides of the diameter. The movable contact-holding cavity can hold the movable contact, the two supports can engage with each other in the direction of the axis, and the pair of the supports and the movable contact are assembled together to form the movable contact assembly. The bottom face of each support can also have a connector, which is positioned symmetrical with respect to the diameter and complementary in shape, such that several movable contact assemblies can be connected with one another as needed. The movable contact assembly of an embodiment of the present invention is simple in structure, secure in connection, highly efficient for assembling, and flexible in use.

    • A multi-position rotary switch comprises a plurality of identical switch chamber modules that are arranged one next to the other. Each switch chamber module holds a separate line switch allocated to a respective circuit. A standalone actuator housing holds a catch assembly for a switch shaft, which is coupled with a cam slide by means of a gear drive. The cam slide is located between a block like arrangement of switch chamber modules and the housing for the activation mechanism, which is designed for a standard configuration with three switch chamber modules connected to each other. The electrical terminals of the multi-position rotary switch are located on a narrow sides of the individual switch chamber modules.
