摘要： The present invention provides electrical cables that can be surely discriminated from one another, even when only a part of an outer surface of each cable is exposed. An electrical cable 1 has an electrically conductive core 5 and a sheathing layer 6 covering the core 5. The sheathing layer 6 has an outer surface 6a with a mono-color. On the outer surface 6a, a first mark 7 and a second mark 8 are provided. At an end 1a of the cable 1, the first mark 7 is provided on a first outer surface 1b while the second mark 8 is provided on a second outer surface 1c positioned oppositely to the first surface 1b of the sheathing layer 6. On the first outer surface 1b, a plurality of the first and second marks 7, 8 are provided to be alternately positioned in a longitudinal direction of the cable 1. The first mark 7 has a first color R while the second mark 8 has a second color G different from the first color R. Desirable variation in hue of the first and second colors R, G allows discrimination of the cables 1 from each other.

摘要： An electrical signal cable assembly includes an electrical cable having opposing first and second ends connected to first and second electrical connectors respectively, and wherein the cable includes at least three wire members arranged in a non-interlaced configuration. Each wire member may include at least one metallic conductor and a respective individual insulating layer thereon. An overall insulating layer may surround the three wire members to retain them in position without requiring braiding. 摘要： Aspects of the present disclosure relate to providing cable assemblies for cellular base stations having remote radio head units located atop a radio tower. Each installation requires near-custom cabling, as the electrical resistance of the conductors of the cable assembly varies based on the length of the cable assembly, and because different operators and local governments require different color-coding of the conductors which are coupled to the power trunk. Accordingly, a power distribution system is provided herein wherein conductors of a trunk cable may be coupled to power jumper conductors at transitions. The transitions are generally cylindrical and comprise channels into which splicing lugs are seated. The conductors may be electrically coupled together and secured via set screws. Manufacturing costs may be reduced, as common configurations of trunk cables may be manufactured in higher quantity and coupled to power jumper conductors according to local requirements.

摘要： Laser-markable cable layers for a cable are provided. The laser-markable cable layers include an inner layer formed of a first polymer material and an outer layer formed of a second polymer material and a laser-marking compound. The outer layer is about 0.5% to about 50% of the thickness of the inner layer. The laser-markable cable layers surround a wire or cable core. Methods of marking a cable having laser-markable cable layers are also provided.
