    • An image processing system capable of checking whether or not an image is correctly read, and of easily correcting an image which is not correctly read is provided. The image processing system includes: an image processing apparatus A which has a reading section 105, an image processing section 110 for performing image processing of a read image, and a metadata generating section 106 for generating metadata for an abnormal image; a storage server B which stores the image and the metadata outputted from the image processing apparatus A; and an image checking apparatus C which checks whether or not the metadata is included in the image acquired from the storage server B, and which when the metadata is included in the acquired image, displays the image on the basis of the metadata, and corrects the acquired image. The image processing system is capable of correcting only the abnormal image, without re-reading all the images.

    • It is possible to provide an information processing apparatus capable of appropriately processing a job for case binding without depending on the sequence of page data constituting the job, a method for controlling the apparatus and a program. To accomplish this, a job for case binding is inputted, and the inputted job is stored in storage means of the image processing apparatus. A bookbinding cover attribute is set for page data to be a cover, in the job stored in the storage means. The order of output of page data in the job is determined based on the set attribute. The page data in the job stored in the storage means are read and outputted to a printer unit in accordance with the determined output order.

    • A copying machine is disclosed which is capable of copying an original document having a page number by preliminarily erasing or correcting the page number portion of the image and by changing the order of the output images according to their respective page numbers or by changing the path for delivering the sheet of paper to be copied. A document page image read-in by a charge coupled device sensor is converted into digital signals which are corrected for shading and then binarized and stored in an image memory. This image data is transferred to a working memory wherein the page number shown on the document is read by a page number recognizing unit. The control unit checks the page number and allocates a binding margin on a suitable portion of the document's image. On the basis of the recognition of the page number on the document's image, it also decides to copy the document on one side of the sheet of paper and to deliver it out, or to copy the next document onto the other side of the sheet of paper.

    • A book copying machine comprises a housing covered with a movable exposure glass at the top and having set therein a microprocessor, a copying camera system, a carbon powder feeding and image setting device, a paper turn-over device and a return delivery device. The movable exposure glass comprises a transverse wedge portion in the middle which can be driven to displace by a driving device so as to fit the surface curvature of the fold of a book. Through the control of the microprocessor to coordinate the parts of the machine, page editing is simply achieved by piling up the duplicated sheets of paper which are folded up respectively.
