    • A tracklight system includes a generally U-shaped track comprising an elongated metal extrusion having a canted base extending between a first parallel leg extending at an acute angle from the base to a distal end and a second parallel leg extending at an obtuse angle from the base to a distal end. The first parallel leg has means for attaching it to a wall or ceiling, and an elongated insulator is attached to second parallel leg 26 and extending through the track length. The insulator has a number of longitudinal slots, each including an electrical conductor receiving power from remote mains. One or more tracklight fixtures may be mounted onto or within the parallel legs. In a preferred embodiment the distal end of the first parallel leg terminates in a J-shaped hook suitable for hanging paintings, or other wall hangings, to be illuminated by the fixtures of the track.

    • A luminaire, and in particular an arm-mounted spotlight or a picture light, having a long slim stem with a lighting head at one end and fixing elements at the other end. The fixing elements have clamping ends which engage at least partially around the stem and which can be operated by hand between a clamping position and a loosening position. In one embodiment, the clamping elements are each formed as clamping sleeves which embrace the stem annularly and have open ends which have flanges which can be moved toward each other by a finger grip in order to achieve the clamping action. In another embodiment, clamping elements are biased into a closed position by a spring and finger grips are provided to open the clamping elements when pressed.

    • An electrical distribution system is provided with an elongated supporting channel which is U-shaped, an electric conductor which rests on the bottom of the elongated supporting channel, and a movable connecting supporting mechanism. The electric conductor has an insulating material and two electric cores embedded within the insulating material. The electric cores extend parallel to one another. Each electric core is formed from two distinct adjacent conductive elements which are electrically interconnected. The movable connecting and supporting mechanism includes a seat engagable with the elongated supporting channel. The seat has a first face with at least two electric conductive prongs projecting therefrom. Each prong has a perforating free end adapted to perforate the insulating material so that the prong can fit between the two conductive elements. The movable connecting and supporting means has an electrical connector connected to the seat. An electrical connecting mechanism electrically connects the prongs with the electrical connector. The movable connecting and supporting mechanism may also have a locking mechanism to lock the seat at a particular position in the supporting channel by engaging with a notch in the U-shaped channel.

    • This invention is a wearable device and method for disrupting unwelcome photography by a proximal imaging device in order to protect a person's privacy. This invention can be embodied in a device worn by the person whose privacy is to be protected comprising: a wearable light source; an ambient light sensor; an inbound light guide that harvests light from an ambient light source; a data processing unit that selects the use of light from the wearable light source, from the ambient light source, or from both the wearable light source and the ambient light source to disrupt unwelcome photography; and an outbound light guide that directs light from the wearable light source, from the ambient light source, or from both the wearable light source and the ambient light source toward the proximal imaging device in order to disrupt unwelcome photography.
