摘要： Provided is a control device for an internal combustion engine, which improves acceleration performance while maintaining fuel performance in a non-supercharging operation range. A bypass passage (33) which bypasses a turbine (32c, 32d) of a supercharger is provided. In the bypass passage (33), a wastegate valve (33a) for adjusting a flow-path area of the bypass passage (33) by a wastegate actuator (33b) is provided. For an operation in the non-supercharging operation range, an opening degree of the wastegate valve (33a) is set to fully close the wastegate valve (33a) when a ratio of a pressure (Pb) of an intake manifold (22) and an atmospheric pressure (P1) is smaller than a threshold value.

The target APC module determines a target APC based on a target spark timing, a target intake cam phaser angle, and a target exhaust cam phaser angle. The target area module determines a target opening of a throttle valve of the engine based on the target spark timing, the target intake cam phaser angle, and the target exhaust cam phaser angle. The target area module controls the throttle valve based on the target opening. The phaser scheduling module determines the target intake and exhaust cam phaser angles based on the target APC. The phaser scheduling module controls intake and exhaust cam phasers of the engine based on the target intake and exhaust cam phaser angles, respectively.

In a first phase, wherein the transmission is in the hydraulic down time thereof, the actual torque provided by the engine is slowly increased, until a torque required by the transmission is achieved. Subsequently, in a second phase, wherein the actual torque of the engine is less than the target torque, a throttle valve is opened further. In a subsequent third phase, in which the actual torque of the engine has achieved the target torque required for synchronization, a late ignition angle is set.

摘要： An engine control system includes a desired manifold absolute pressure (MAP) module, a MAP to torque module, a threshold determination module, and a fuel economy (FE) mode module. The desired MAP module determines a desired MAP for operation of an engine in one of a cylinder deactivation mode and a low-lift mode based on a difference between a desired vacuum and an air pressure upstream of a throttle valve. The MAP to torque module determines a desired torque output of the engine for operation in the one of the cylinder deactivation mode and the low-lift mode based on the desired MAP. The threshold determination module determines an entry torque based on the desired torque output. The FE mode module selectively triggers operation in the one of the cylinder deactivation mode and the low-lift mode based on a comparison of the entry torque and a torque request.

The system includes monitoring the actual ignition angle intervention. A current ignition angle is acquired over a specified time and converted into a torque model used for catalytic converter heating. Using the torque model, a degree of fulfillment of executed catalytic converter heating measures is obtained and an error signal is generated by comparing the obtained degree of fulfillment to a limiting value.

In a first operating condition, the internal-combustion engine is operated with a first injection quantity and a first ignition point. In a second operating condition, the internal-combustion engine is operated with a second injection quantity higher than the first injection quantity and a second ignition point. The second ignition point in time is less favorable than the first ignition point in the case of the second injection quantity with respect to the capacity of the internal-combustion engine. Upon detecting a substantially imminent special driving situation, a driving situation detection device causes the internal-combustion engine to change from the first operating condition into the second operating condition.
