摘要： A box with a wheel assembly platform has a tow strap with a folded position stowed in a recess in the platform and an unfolded position accessible outside the box. In one embodiment, the strap is incorporated in a pre-assembled handle pack positioned in the recess. The strap may be retracted by a torsion spring, and may be coiled in the pack by use of a rotating fork. In one embodiment axles projecting from rollers are supported in recesses formed in the platform, and in another embodiment the axles are supported in notches in the bottom end of cylinders mounted in cutouts in the platform. In a further embodiment a box has hand holes in opposite walls with a spacer panel providing finger access behind the holes. The platform may have hinged panels. A thermoformed skin may be applied to the platform or constitute the platform.

摘要： A platform shipping rack cart for shipping rack(s) supporting glass sheets is provided. The cart may include a plurality of upwardly extending locator projections (e.g., pins) for engaging L-frame racks that hold glass sheets, so as to allow the L-frame rack(s) to be positioned and securely mounted on the cart for shipping and the like. The locator projections are arranged so that first and second L-frame racks may be provided on the cart either facing each other, or in back-to-back position, as desired. The cart advantageously allows multiple L-shaped glass racks to be stabilized on the cart and moved at a given time, and allows for loading the glass in either lengthwise or sideways orientations into vans or the like.

The two sub-assemblies are rigidly connected by an assembly unit having an arm ending in a caster. The sub-assemblies, depending on their relative angular position, fulfill various vertical and horizontal panel fitting functions. The pole is mobile vertically relative to the main wheels, to the rear thereof when running on the ground, and to the fore thereof when fitting the panels vertically by lifting action on the first sub-assembly.
