摘要： A vehicle instrument configured so that turning on and off the light sources without depending on inputted vehicle information enables the instrument to be illuminated in a visually effective manner. The instrument is provided with: input circuits into which vehicle information is inputted as electric signals and which are provided with resistors connected to light sources relating to the vehicle information; electric-potential adjustment circuits for adjusting the electric potentials of lines of wiring between the input circuits and the light sources on the basis of control signals from a controller and eliminating influence on the light sources from the vehicle information; and light source control circuits which, when influence on the light sources is eliminated by the electric-potential adjustment circuits, operate and visualize turning on and off of the light sources on basis of the control signals from the controller.

The operation device has an ornamental panel including operation portions and illumination windows. An elastomeric sheet below the ornamental panel is resiliently deformed by the operation portions. Contacts are arranged on the elastomeric sheet. A circuit board is arranged adjacent to the elastomeric sheet. Switches are arranged on the circuit board in correspondence with the contacts. The switches contact the contacts when the elastomeric sheet is deformed. A light guide arranged on the circuit board guides light from a light source arranged on the circuit board to the illumination portions. Openings extend through the circuit board in correspondence with the illumination portions. The light guide includes a reflection structure for reflecting light from the light source toward the openings.

The electrically conductive membrane is electrically connected with ground patterns of a wiring pattern. Accordingly, ground connections at the control circuit are sufficiently performed. Therefore, even though ground connections in an area other than the control circuit are not sufficiently performed, a magnetic noise is prevented from being generated in a loop-shaped electricity supply line passing through a CPU and etc. Consequently, noises in printed board can be effectively reduced.
