摘要： A screen filter comprises a housing defining a melt passage for molten thermoplastic material. A guide channel in the housing is configured and arranged to direct a continuous screen filter across the melt passage. A gate blocks an exit section of the guide channel during initial formation of a solidified plug of the material being filtered on the screen filter. The gate is then partially withdrawn to an intermediate position at which it acts as a brake to releasably impede movement of the plug and screen filter until a screen change is required. The gate is then fully withdrawn and the screen filter and the plug formed thereon are pulled across the melt passage by an exterior clamp mechanism.

摘要： A method is provided for producing colored molded bodies based on the following steps: (a) plasticising a polymeric material and blending the material with one or more dyes to form a molding compound by means of a gelation unit equipped with a metering apparatus for dyes; (b) optionally temporarily storing the molding compound obtained in step (a); (c) charging a molding device with the molding compound; and (d) producing the molded body; wherein the ratio of dye to polymeric material is automatically regulated using a colorimeter and an electronic control, and in step (a) color values are measured at the molding compound located in the gelation unit and transmitted as a signal to the electronic control.

The film production apparatus is configured to apply fluid pressure in a direction pushing back the molten resin existing in the space against displacement of the molten rein taken up in a rotational direction of the chill roll.

摘要： Disclosed is a molding material for extrusion foam molding from which woody molded foam of high quality can be obtained. From the molding material, woody molded foam of high quality with no defects is efficiently produced. Constituent materials comprising woodmeal and a thermoplastic resin as major components and containing 1-5 wt % alkane having a molecular weight of 300-1,000 g/mol are melt-kneaded until the components come into an evenly dispersed state, and the resultant mixture is molded into pellets having a given diameter to obtain a molding material. Subsequently, this molding material is extrusion-molded into a given shape together with a blowing agent by means of an extrusion molding device, thereby obtaining woody molded foam. The extrusion molding is preferably conducted in a manner such that the extrudate (25a) extruded from the extruder (12) is introduced into the molding chamber (31) of a molding die (30) while keeping the extrudate in the pressurized state and the extrudate (25a) is released from the pressure upon introduction into the molding chamber (31) of the molding die (30) to foam the extrudate (25a).

摘要： This invention relates to extruded composite materials specifically focusing on the increasing load bearing capacity and the overall strength of composites. Injectable conformable structural core materials are used to replace foam cells inside extruded composite materials thereby increasing the overall load bearing stability and strength. The core materials are tailored to have a desired CTE with respect to the structural materials. The core materials may also incorporate fibers and solid structural fillers for increasing the strength of the composite member. The objective is to enable composite materials to have the highest structural load bearing capability possible so that these technologies can be used as the replacement of wood, in aerospace applications and for other purposes.
