摘要： A beater for a mixer includes a shaft (14) including a mixer attachment portion (16), the shaft defining a rotational axis (A) of the beater. A first stabilizing arm (18) extends outwardly from the shaft and a second stabilizing arm (20) extends outwardly from the shaft and spaced circumferentially from the first stabilizing arm. A first blade (22) has an upper end connected to the first stabilizing arm at a location spaced from the shaft, a lower end located proximate the rotational axis of the beater and a leading face (40) that transitions from a substantially vertical orientation at the lower end to a downwardly angled orientation at the upper end. A second blade (24) has an upper end connected to the second stabilizing arm at a location spaced from the shaft, a lower end located proximate the rotational axis of the beater and a leading face (42) that transitions from a substantially vertical orientation at the lower end to a downwardly angled orientation at the upper end.

摘要： A process for producing polyamide which comprises directly melt polymerizing a diamine component, which comprises 70% by mole or more of xylylenediamine comprising 20% by mole or more of para-xylylenediamine, and a dicarboxylic acid component in the substantial absence of solvents in a reaction apparatus of the batch type, wherein a stirring apparatus disposed in the reaction apparatus and used for stirring the melted polymer in the apparatus comprises: (1) a rotating shaft connected to a driving member for stirring, (2) two or more stirring rods disposed in the substantially vertical direction which are cylinder-shaped members or plate-shaped members moving along the circumference of a circle having the center at the rotating shaft, and (3) a connecting member which connects the rotating shaft and the stirring rods; distances between the center line of the rotating shaft and center lines of the two or more stirring rods are each 15% or greater of the inner diameter of the reaction apparatus; the connecting member and the rotating shaft are disposed above the liquid surface of the melted polymer; and stirring is conducted in a manner such that the circumferential speed of the stirring rods is 30 m/minute or greater.

摘要： A device for driving a plurality of rotatable agitators for use in a static batch reactor system, a reactor bottle cap for use with the rotatable agitator driving device and a static batch reactor system which includes the rotatable agitator driving device and bottles fitted with the reactor bottle cap are disclosed. The rotatable agitator driving device includes a planar case having first and second opposite faces, a plurality of drive heads projecting from the case through the second face and a gear train protectively housed in the case. The gear train includes a driver gear having a coupling for receiving drive from a motor, a set of idler gears and a set of driven gears. Each driven gear attached to a respective drive head for driving a rotatable agitator. The gear train is configured to cause the drive heads to rotate at the same rate.

摘要： An apparatus for mixing gas and liquid is disclosed. The apparatus may have a plurality of blades rotated about a common shaft. The blades may have a forward portion, which cuts through a liquid, and a trailing portion, which forms the leading part of a gas cavity. The gas cavity is in communication with a gas inlet and the bulk fluid. As the blades pass through a liquid, a reduced pressure zone is formed immediately behind the blade. The reduced pressure zone allows air to be aspirated from the gas inlet into the gas cavity adjacent to the blade. Gas in the gas cavity is sheared into discrete bubbles and transferred to the liquid by the action of the trailing blade wake currents.
