摘要： A portable tooth polishing and bleaching treatment system is provided for simultaneous tooth surface polishing and bleaching for use at home or in dental clinics. A full contact swinging mechanism is employed to transfer a continuously rotational input from a motor into a back-and-forth swinging movement output. The system comprises an electrically powered handpiece, a detachable swinging angle, a rubber cup, a user-specific thermoplastic gum protector, and a dual-agent mixing set consisting of a separated storage of polishing bleaching agents and an agent mixing tool. The swinging angle alone is used as a prophylaxis angle for dental clinics.

摘要： The invention provides a unitary cordless dental drive apparatus with a cantilever arm extending outward and positioned to allow a dental nose cone to be connected. An activating switch is located at the free end of the cantilever arm in a position that is convenient for manipulation by a user. In a second embodiment, the switch is in the form of a contactor mounted below the cantilever arm to contact the nose cone when pressed. In a third embodiment, a foot pedal connected to a wireless transmitter is provided to send a signal to a receiver located within the handpiece for activating the handpiece.

摘要： A portable dental system comprises a drill system for drilling, a fluid delivery system irrigating the drill system and the patient's mouth, a battery for powering the drill system and the fluid delivery system, control circuitry for controlling the drill system and the fluid delivery system, and a housing. The housing protects the drill system, the fluid delivery system, the battery and the control circuitry, and defines a cavity sized to retain them. With the battery internal to the portable dental system, the system can be used in any environment that does not include an external power source. The control circuitry includes a power circuit for powering the drill system and the fluid delivery system from power provided by an external source, such as a 24-volt DC vehicle battery, a 12-volt DC vehicle battery, or a generator that can generate 110 volts AC or 220 volts AC. The portable dental system weighs less than 35 lbs and may be easily carried.
