    • A method and apparatus for use in endoscopic examination of a hollow internal organ, such as hysteroscopic examination of the uterus, includes an inflatable cuff for infusing a pressurized viscous fluid into the interior of the uterine cavity for minimizing distortion of an image of the organ interior viewable through the endoscope. The viscous fluid is an optically clear innocuous liquid having a predetermined viscosity such as between 130 and 300 centistokes at 20.degree. C, and a predetermined optical density, such as a refractive index of 1.3912 at 21.degree. C. This viscous fluid is contained in a self-contained sterile packet reservoir which is removably retained within the inflatable cuff with the viscous fluid being pressurized and released from the reservoir into the endoscope to be infused into the organ interior under the controlled pressure of the inflated cuff surrounding the fluid reservoir packet.

    • An interface cable system for providing electrical interconnection between an intrauterine pressure catheter system and a monitoring system is provided. The interface cable system includes a first connector configured to provide electrical interconnection between the interface cable system and the intrauterine pressure catheter system and a second connector configured to provide electrical interconnection between the interface cable system and the monitoring system. The interface cable system also includes a plurality of conductors extending between said first connector and said second connector and a switching element for configuring the interface cable system to provide, upon operation of the switching element, a time period in which a zeroing operation of the intrauterine pressure catheter system may be performed. The interface cable system also includes an indicator for indicating that the switching element has been operated, thereby indicating that the zeroing operation may be performed during the time period.

    • An intravaginal treatment device (ITD) provides therapeutic light and fluid treatments. Vision systems throughout supporting networks and devices allow for directed control of the treatment processes. The ITD uses illumination to gather various types of imager data that is used to identify and conditions, monitor the treatment process, and evaluate treatment efficacy. Specific frequency light emissions and associated fluids are used to reduce overabundant flora, at least assist in elimination of fungal, viral and bacterial invaders, and enhance the detection process. Several configurations and sizes of ITDs with light and fluid therapy, also have a built in optics assembly (camera, light sources, etc.) for capturing intravaginal still images and video of vaginal channels, cervix, cervical channels, uterus and fallopian tubes. Some ITD configurations are also wearable and include full fluid delivery infrastructure unlike some other ITDs with external components. Supporting devices include local and remotely located computing devices such as laptops, smart phones, and independent monitors. ITDs can be fully or partially inserted via the vaginal channel, and operate in a stand-alone mode or pursuant to remote control. Therapy procedures may be preset or programmed to deliver continuous, periodic and scheduled performance with various underlying parameters defined in the preset or programming processes.
