摘要： A beverage container holding a beverage includes a cap that can be used to prevent contamination of a beverage between drinks. The cap is sized to fit over the foot of the beverage container for use as a non-slip coaster. The beverage container is shrink wrapped to retain the cap on the top of the beverage container. The shrink wrap includes a pair of vertically disposed perforations which facilitate opening of the beverage container. The shrink wrap also aids in keeping the beverage container sanitary by preventing contaminants from reaching surfaces of the beverage container.

摘要： An insulated drinking vessel, e.g., a wine glass, and a method of making the same is disclosed. The drinking vessel basically comprises an outer vessel, an inner vessel and a ring. The inner and outer vessels each include a sidewall. The sidewalls are spaced apart. At least one of the outer vessel, the inner vessel and the ring are pre-molded to form an integral structure having a vestige of a molding gate used to mold the integral structure. At least one of the inner and outer vessels and the ring is molded in situ on the integral structure to cause portions thereof to melt and intermingle to form a non-superficial homogenous joint, with the ring forming the rim or lip of the insulated drinking vessel.

摘要： An insulated stemmed drinking vessel, e.g., a wine glass, and method of making the same is disclosed. The vessel includes a hollow bowl shaped member and a base member. The bowl shaped member has a sidewall having a thin upper rim. The bowl shaped member is disposed within a stemmed base member. The stemmed base member has an arcuate sidewall terminating in an upper edge which is welded to a peripheral portion of the hollow bowl shaped member substantially below the upper rim of the bowl shaped member to create a double walled insulating air space therebetween. A vibration dampening member may be disposed in that insulating air space. The dampening member may be decorative. The base member may be hollow and may also include a decorative member therein.

摘要： An illuminated, color-changing, interchangeable drinking vessel assembly that includes an upper fluid retaining vessel, a neck, a collar on a stem, and a base. Magnets are located in the neck of the upper fluid retaining vessel and light emitting diodes (SMD LED's) and a magnetically actuated switch are located in the collar of the stem. A controller and battery are located in the base of the stem and are also electrically connected to the light emitting diodes. When the upper fluid retaining vessel and neck are magnetically attached to the collar of the stem, the magnetically operated switch detects the magnetic field and closes the circuit, activating the SMD LED's.
