摘要： A child seat that can be used as either a rocker or a booster. The child seat has a frame that includes a pair of leg portions having respective curved sections on which the child seat can be rocked back and forth. The same frame includes a pair of arm arrangements that can be engaged to an object such as a table such that the child seat can hang off the table and extend into the air. When engaged to the table, such as to the edge of the table, the seat frame portion of the child seat can be angularly adjusted as to a remaining portion of the frame such that the child seat can recline whether the child seat is in use as a booster or as a rocker. The seat portion of the frame is disposed within the arm arrangement and leg portions of the frame. The frame clamps tightly to the table via the frame resiliently biting into the table when a lock is swung into position.

摘要： The present invention relates to a reconfigurable child receiving device that includes a seat portion and arcuate leg members that support the seat portion above a supporting surface. The seat portion is further supported by arcuate cross members that extend between the leg members and are pivotally connected to the leg members. The arcuate cross member can each be individually pivoted upward above the leg members or downward below the leg members. The pivotal connection between the leg members and the cross members enables the reconfigurable child receiving device to be configured into four different modes of use. In a first mode, both arcuate cross members are pivoted upward above the leg members to allow the device to rock on the leg members in a first direction. In a second mode the second cross member is pivoted downward to prevent rocking in the first direction and to secure the seat portion in a relatively upright configuration. In a third mode the first arcuate cross member is pivoted downward to prevent the device from rocking in the first direction and to support the seat portion in a generally reclined position. In a fourth mode, both arcuate cross members are pivoted downward below the leg members and into contact with the supporting surface to enable the device to rock in a second direction, the second direction being generally perpendicular to the first direction.

The support portion includes a front frame assembly, such as a pair of front legs, and a rear frame assembly, such as a pair of rear legs, with each of the front legs being pivotably connected to a respective rear leg through a detachable joint. The seat portion includes a back support portion that is formed by a U-shaped seat back tube slipped inside a pocket in soft goods. Both ends of the U-shaped seat back tube are connected to the detachable joints pivotably connecting the rear legs to the front legs. The seat portion also includes a bottom formed by a rigid board permanently attached to a transverse member extending between the front legs and slipped into a second pocket in the soft goods. As the rear legs are telescopically changed in length, the legs pivot relative to each other and to the rocker base, with a resulting change in inclination of the seat back tube and back support portion.
