摘要： Disclosed herein are devices and methods for styling hair. A hair styling device is described with a cylindrical body comprising a semi-compressible core, a smooth layer surrounding the semi-compressible core, a proximal cylindrical top end, and a distal cylindrical boom end, wherein the distal cylindrical bottom end is parallel to the proximal cylindrical top end configured on each end of the cylindrical body. The hair styling device further comprises a strap comprising a first end, and a second end, wherein the first end of the strap is fixedly attached to the cylindrical body adjacent to the proximal cylindrical top end and the second end of the strap is configured to be helically wound around the cylindrical body and removably attached to the cylindrical body adjacent to the distal cylindrical bottom end. Methods are described that allow use of the hair styling devices to dry hair and style hair either curled or straight.

摘要： A hair curling system embodying a novel device and method for overnight use is provided. The hair curling system includes a sectioning tool and a separate curling strip. The sectioning tool may include an elastic cord forming a loop shape, wherein a stopper member is disposed there along. The curling strip may include an elongated strip of material that terminates in a collar. The collar may define a collar opening adapted to receive the stopper member. The user may use the sectioning tool to secure a predetermined section of hair whereby the stopper member may subsequently receive the collar and thus hang the attached elongated strip near the scalp of the user. The user may then twirl the predetermined section of hair using the entire curling strip. The sectioning tool is then removed, facilitating a comfortable sleep with at least one curling strip in place.

摘要： A single implement device for the generation of hair curls without the need for heat is provided. Such an implement utilizes two flexible fabric-covered rod structures that curve around a user's head, each from the forehead area to the back of the head, thereby providing two substantially symmetrical components around which hair portions may be wrapped and kept for a certain period of time. After a certain period of time, the user removes the implement and the previously wrapped hair exhibits desired curls that last another 24 hours, at least. Such an implement allows for curl generation without the need for heat applications and/or multiple hair rollers. The method of utilizing such a single implement to generate hair curls throughout the entirety of a user's hair is also encompassed within this invention.

摘要： A hair protection, retention and styling apparatus has a triangular shape. The left and right base corners comprise hair protection flaps that extend from either side of a rectangular hair retention channel roll. A top hair retention flap extends from the top thereof to form the top corner. A cylindrical style bar is attached near the top of the triangular body. Once a user places her hair on the channel roll, the hair protection flaps are folded in over the hair, thereby containing, retaining, and protecting the hair. The ends of the user's hair are wrapped around the style bar and the top hair retention roll is wrapped over the bar and the hair and bar are rolled approximately to the user's scalp. First and second wrap ties attach near the top of the triangular body and are used to secure the apparatus to the user's head.
