摘要： A hand-held electric beater-mixer comprises a drive motor (7), two coupling devices (20, 28) linked to the motor and engageable by a whisk and a mixing accessory (38) respectively, an electrical switch (71) operated by a button (67) having an "off" position, a number of "continuous on" positions and a "selective on" position, a vertical movable ejector (51), and a mechanical assembly (72) for preventing continuous operation when the mixing accessory is in place. The mechanical assembly comprises a movable member (74) which releases the ejector when the whisk is in place. The ejector has an engagement tab (53) enabling operation of the button when the ejector is in the raised position, and locks the ejector (51) in the lowered position when the mixing accessory is in place. The engagement tab (53) of the ejector locked in the lowered position locks the button (67) on the side corresponding to its "continuous on" positions.

The heating device comprises a heat reflector (38) mounted fixedly on the inner shell (14) and disposed at a small distance (d) below the resistance (26) so as to concentrate the thermal radiation of the resistance over all the bottom of the vessel. The apparatus is of particular utility when embodied in an electric deep fat fryer.

摘要： An electric steam iron comprises a pump (20) adapted to remove a quantity of water from a reservoir (17) and to send this quantity, via a selection device (24), either into a steam chamber (14) so as to obtain abruptly an abundant emission of steam through holes in the sole, or to a cold water spray (25), this pump being of the type having a piston (27) movable in an intake chamber (31). The selection device comprises a deformable membrane (56) with two valves (58, 59) associated respectively with two openings, namely an injection opening (44) connected to the steam chamber (14) and a spray opening (45) connected to the spray chamber (25) and subjected respectively to two manual control buttons, namely, a steam button (62) and a spray button (63). The membrane (56) occupies a working position, defined when one or the other of the two buttons (62, 63) is actuated, in which the valve associated with the actuated button is maintained closed and obstructs the corresponding opening, while the valve associated with the other button opens by deformation of the membrane (56) effected by pressure of the pressurized water and clears the corresponding opening through which passes the pressurized water.

The control (10) is subordinated to a corrector (11 ) for the absolute time which retards or advances a predetermined time relative to the selected absolute time so as to fix a relative time. The control (10) then passes to its active condition at this relative time. The programmer (6) comprises an automatic device (12) for positioning the relative time with respect to the programmed absolute time.
