摘要： A device for focusing a light beam comprises a optical assembly comprising at least one focusing lens and/or mirror, a support structure which supports the optical assembly, a magnetic actuator configured to move the optical assembly with respect to the support structure along a moving direction substantially parallel to an optical axis (X) of the optical assembly and at least one position sensor configured to provide an indication of the position of the optical assembly with respect to the support structure. The magnetic actuator comprises at least one permanent magnet integrally associated with the optical assembly and at least one first electrical winding integrally associated with the support structure and configured to cause flowing of an electric current within it, wherein the electrical current interacts with said at least one permanent magnet and causes the movement of the optical assembly along said moving direction until the optical assembly is brought to a desired focusing position. The focusing device comprises at least one second electrical winding integrally associated with the support structure and configured to be short-circuited so as to generate, due to the electromagnetic induction generated by the relative motion between said at least one permanent magnet and said at least one second electrical winding, a braking force that opposes the movement of the optical assembly along said moving direction.

摘要： A system and method for matching a pattern may include generating a set of model descriptors representative of segment features of a first imaged object. A set of query descriptors representative of segment features of a second imaged object may be generated. A first model segment may be selected to align with the query segments to determine if any of the query segments correspond with the first model segment based on respective model descriptors and query descriptors. An hypothesis may be generated by computing a transformation to match the selected first model descriptor with a query descriptor. The hypothesis may be validated by a model fitting algorithm when comparing other transformed model descriptors with other query descriptors. Based on a consensus value from the model fitting algorithm, a determination as to whether a pattern match exists between the first and second images may be made.

摘要： A wireless power system providing protection from overvoltage conditions. A wireless power receiver has one or more magnets to allow detection of a distance of the wireless power receiver from a wireless power transmitter using a Hall effect sensor. When the detected distance is less than a determined threshold, the wireless power transmitter is instructed to transmit power. The wireless power receiver has one or more transient voltage suppression (TVS) diodes communicatively connected so that when a determined operating voltage of a protected portion of the receiver is exceeded, the TVS diodes provide a low impedance path for transient current to divert the transient current away from the protected portion of the receiver. When the wireless power receiver detects an overvoltage condition, the receiver sends a reset command to the wireless power transmitter.

The scan engine may also output a set of images related to the machine-readable symbol and an object associated with the machine-readable symbol, in which the set of images may form a streaming set of images or streaming video. The set of images may be used by the auxiliary image processor to obtain further information about the machine-readable symbol and/or associated object, such as OCR or DWM information. The set of images may be stored and made accessible by the auxiliary visualizer. The host system may synchronize a display of the images and decoded data output by the scan engine.

The printed circuit board with receptacle offer self-alignment for the light emitting diodes. The beam shaping aperture in front of the light-emitting diodes allows light to pass through the aperture that is part of the printed circuit board layer of the complex device.
