    • An electric wire shaping apparatus includes a pair of male and female shaping dies and a pressing mechanism. Each of the male and female shaping dies has a shaping surface that includes a plurality of straight parts and a plurality of bent parts. The pressing mechanism moves one of the male and female shaping dies toward the other, thereby pressing a turn portion of an electric wire between the shaping surfaces of the male and female shaping dies in a width-wise direction of the turn portion. Furthermore, the male and female shaping dies are so configured that when they are located closest to each other, a gap W2 between a corresponding pair of the bent parts of the shaping surfaces of the male and female shaping dies is different in size from a gap W1 between a corresponding pair of the straight parts of the shaping surfaces.

    • A printed circuit board on which are laid out detection windings and an excitation magnetic flux detection winding formed of conductor patterns is disposed so as to be spaced a predetermined gap quantity from a binary cyclic random number sequence code plate which is rotatably disposed. A U-shaped exciting core on which an excitation winding is wound is disposed on the back surface side of the printed circuit board. The detection windings detect and output, as voltage values, reluctance changes as which excitation magnetic fluxes generated from the excitation winding fluctuate between this excitation winding and the concave/convex portion of the binary cyclic random number sequence code plate. Reduction of precision due to interferences between the excitation magnetic fluxes for detecting an absolute code and other excitation magnetic flux is thereby prevented.

    • An electromagnetic induction type position sensor comprises an AC magnetic flux generating device which generates AC magnetic flux substantially at a wavelength λ, and a plurality of coils which receives the AC magnetic flux to output electromagnetic induction voltages. Each coil includes a plurality of sinusoidal conductive patterns at a wavelength λ formed in each of an even number of layers laminated via insulating materials. The plurality of conductive patterns formed in a same layer is arranged with a space between them in an amplitude direction of the sinusoidal shape, and is formed at the same position as a plurality of conductive patterns formed in another adjacent layer, and its amplitude is in a reverse phase to that of the plurality of conductive patterns formed in the other adjacent layer. All the conductive patterns constituting the same coil are connected in series so that a direction of an electric current of these conductive patterns is opposite to that of the conductive patterns in reverse phases when viewed from the front of the layers.
