    • An amplification device of a small detection signal with a multi-element sensor is provided wherein the amplification factor of the operational amplifier can be made variable and also high accuracy offset cancellation and the reduction of noise in low frequency range is possible. A first switching element 31 selectively connects the normal phase input terminal 14 of the operational amplifier 12 either to the reference potential 60 or to the output terminal 2a-2n of the sensor element 1a-1n. The inverse phase input terminal 15 is connected to the reference potential 60 through the resistor 41 and at the same time to the output terminal 16 through the resistor 42, 43. Also one terminal 52 of the capacitor 51 is connected to the output terminal 16 of the operational amplifier 12, the other terminal 53, is connected to the output buffer 13, a second switching element 32 is arranged to selectively connect the terminal 53 to the reference potential 60. Each resistor 42,43 is selectively short circuited by switching element 33,34 to change the resistance value thus varying the amplification factor of the operational amplifier 12.

    • A polarizing plate comprises a polymer film and a polarizing membrane. The polymer film has a slow axis, and the polarizing membrane has a transmission axis. The polymer film and the polarizing membrane are arranged to orient the slow axis of the polymer film essentially at 45° to the transmission axis of the polarizing membrane. The polarizing membrane has a transmittance of 30 to 50% and a polarizing degree of 90 to 100%. When light having a wavelength of 450 nm is incident on the polarizing membrane, the ratio of the transmittance in a direction parallel to the transmission axis to the transmittance in a direction perpendicular to the transmission axis (T//(450)/T⊥(450)) satisfies the following formula (I).     • There is disclosed a reduced-scale digital data deinterleaver of simple structure. In a preferred embodiment each word is comprised of 32 bits of data, and 32 words form a block. In each block, each word is separated into four phases cyclically. The resulting bit lines and word lines are interchanged to produce interleaved data items. One block of the interleaved data items is written into a RAM. A higher significant address of 5 bits and a lower significant address of 5 bits of the RAM are specified by the higher significant 5 bits and the lower significant 5 bits, respectively, of the output from a counter. Whenever a block of data is written to the RAM the higher significant 5 bits and the lower significant 5 bits are interchanged to produce first and second count signals. Data is read from the specified address, 1 bit at a time and data is written, 1 bit at a time, into the address just from which data was read out. When the most and lower significant 5 bits are interchanged as described above, the higher significant 2 bits of the higher significant 5 bits and higher significant 2 bits of the lower significant 5 bits are alternately shifted toward lower significant bits.
