To avoid the former manual finishing of the land produced by etching or by some other manner, a largely automatically operating apparatus is proposed which has a table (6) for the punch body, a tool (56) with a roof-shaped notch facing the table (6), a first drive (64) for the automatic movement of the tool (56) back and forth in the direction of the table (6) and additional drive (15, 37, 51, 62) for the production of relative movements between the table (6) and the tool (56), by means of which the tool (56) can be guided automatically along the land (22) (FIG. 1).

摘要： Zig-zag folded layers of paper webs are stacked downstream of a folder on a lifting table. A belt is raised to hold a nearly completed stack from below and a separating rake with leading spear shaped heads is moved into the stack at a division between sheets, and severs the stack along a fold. The lifting table and separating rake are shifted together as the separating rake advances, during which the stack to be removed is supported on the raised belt. A new partial stack accumulates on the separating rake while the old stack is removed, the belt is lowered and the table is raised. The table and rake are then returned to their original position to resume stacking on the table. Shifting of the table and separating means, and movement of the raised belt, are driven from a common drive by means of a controllable freewheel clutch engaging over a part of the cycle.

摘要： A tactical rig to be worn by police and military personnel includes an accessory panel which is strapped to the thigh of an individual and which is secured to the belt of the wearer with an adjustable strap. The accessory panel includes three heavy straps secured to itself including a series of stitchings which define loops for attaching pouches. One of the pouches may be a holster, which is secured to the panel with a fastener, such as a spring clip passing through one of the loops. The holster is generally U-shaped in cross-section and includes extended portions having loop and pile fasteners which combine to provide a double wrap around a handgun with an attached tactical light or other object carried in the holster. Because of the extended portions and the loop and pile fasteners, there is considerable flexibility in the size and shape of an object, which can be safely carried in the holster. Straps passing over the top of the holster with snap fasteners provide additional assurance that the handgun/light combination will be securely carried despite strenuous activity by the wearer.

摘要： A flatbed knitting machine having electronic control includes memory and trol units associated with the machine, a data entry device (11) for the entering of data into the machine, and also indicator means (12, 13), wherein upon the entering of data by way of the data entry device the indicator means provides a guidance report for the user, data called up for entry can be directed to one of several types of machine, each next step in the entry of data can only be effected in accordance with the requirement shown by the indicator means, and at least one key (.noteq.) is provided for stepping-on the indicator means. For extremely simple operation of the data entry device (11) and in order to achieve complete programming of the patterning and of the usual control data for the plan run of the machine, with all the parts necessary for the functioning of the entry device built into the entry device itself, the data entry device (11) has only one keyboard with ten number keys (0 to 9), a decimal point key (.), an erase key (C), a needle selection key (*), a needle selection suppression key (--), a slash key (/), an initial recall key ( ), a YES key (=) and a NO key (.noteq.), a digital instruction display (12), and a digital program display (13). For the entry of pattern information five program segments with independent entry possibilities are provided fixedly in the entry device (11), and the data entry device (11) itself includes a permanently connected program for strict user guidance beginning with the choice of the type of machine and of the mode of operation (writing, editing, reading, automonitoring).

摘要： Novel phosphonocarboxylic acid compounds having the formula ##STR1## wherein the radicals R which may be identical or different and which represent alkyl radicals with 1-18 carbon atoms which may be optionally substituted by halogen, hydrogen, alkali metal ions or ammonium ions, are prepared by reacting methylene phosphonic acid alkyl esters with acrylic acid esters in the presence of strongly basic catalysts at temperatures of about 0.degree.-140.degree. C., and by possibly trans-esterifying the reaction products or by submitting the latter to acid or basic hydrolysis. The acid hydrolysis to yield the free 3,3-diphosphono-pimelic acid is best carried out with at least the about 6-fold molar quantity of a carboxylic acid such as HCOOH, CH.sub.3 COOH, etc., optionally in the presence of catalytic quantities of strong acids or bases, at elevated temperatures.The compounds of formula (I), wherein the radicals R represent only alkyl radicals which may possibly be substituted by halogen, are valuable plasticizers for polyvinyl chloride, the compounds of formula (I), wherein R=H, alkali metal ions and/or ammonium ions, are valuable gypsum setting retardants and complex-forming agents for metal ions.
