    • An illumination system including a Globe Positioning System (GPS) unit, a Light Emitting Diode (LED) light source, a power supply unit, and a control platform is provided.     • The present invention is directed to a lighting device. A lighting unit includes at least one lighting string, and each lighting string includes one or serial-connected lighting elements. An AC/DC power converter converts an AC voltage to a DC voltage, therefore providing a current to the lighting unit. In one embodiment, a detecting unit performs detection to generate a detect signal; in another embodiment, a brightness adjusting unit, after adjustment, generates adjust signals that represent different brightness modes respectively. Subsequently, a resistor network generates a control signal according to the detect signal or the adjust signal, and a switch unit controls the brightness of the lighting unit according to the control signal.

    • A power distribution system for applying electric power to a plurality of lighting units is provided. The power distribution system includes at least one user interface having a first pairing setting unit, a plurality of second pairing setting units, and a power line. The user interface is electrically connected with a power source. Each of the second pairing setting units is electrically connected with one of the lighting units, respectively. The power line connected with the lighting units is electrically connected between the first pairing setting unit and the second pairing setting units. Each of the second pairing setting units is capable of receiving an electrical signal output by the first pairing setting unit and determining whether the lighting unit controlled thereby is turned on or not. Therefore, each of the second pairing setting units connected with the same power line can be controlled individually.

    • The present invention is directed to a light-emitting diode (LED) illumination apparatus. The apparatus includes a housing, an LED substrate, at least two electrical-insulation clamping members and associated screws, and a heat-conduction pad. At least one LED chip is fixed on the surface of the LED substrate. Each electrical-insulation clamping member has a threaded hole for screwing the screw in order to fasten the electrical-insulation clamping member to the housing; and each electrical-insulation clamping member has a recess for clamping the LED substrate. The heat-conduction pad is disposed between the housing and the LED substrate, and is used to conduct heat generated by the LED chip.

    • A load control module suitable for an electrical equipment is disclosed, wherein the electrical equipment is coupled to a switch. The load control module includes an energy storage unit, a microprocessor, and a pulse control unit. The energy storage unit still outputs a reserved voltage for a predetermined time when the switch is turned off. Besides, the energy storage unit switches the level of an indication signal according to the on/off state of the switch. Along with the change in the level of the indication signal, the microprocessor regulates the duty cycle of a modulation signal through different control methods respectively within and without a fine tuning time. Thereby, the load control module regulates the level of a control voltage according to the on/off state of the switch so as to achieve a diversified control function.
