摘要： A method in electronic messaging in a mobile telecommunications network for mobile communication terminals is disclosed. The method involves, in a sender terminal, the steps of generating an electronic message, associating the electronic message with a message notification, and representing the electronic message and the message notification in a signal which is transmittable over the mobile telecommunications network to a receiver terminal. The signal is adapted, when received in the receiver terminal, for performance of the message notification in a user interface of the receiver terminal as a notification of the reception of the electronic message. Further disclosed are an associated method in a receiver terminal, and a sender terminal and a receiver terminal capable of performing the respective method, as well as a system including such sender and receiver terminals.

摘要： A method and apparatus to collect risk factor information and location data associated with asthma patients and to provide information to these patients about the air quality is disclosed. A mobile two-way communication tool is used to facilitate air quality analysis based on human reactions and clustering methods. The method includes measuring predetermined physiological and dynamic parameters associated with a user, transmitting the measured predetermined parameters to an analysis tool, analyzing the measured physiological and dynamic predetermined parameters to determine advisory information associated with the measured predetermined physiological and dynamic parameters and transmitting the advisory information to the user. The measuring predetermined physiological and dynamic parameters associated with a user includes measuring physiological conditions of the user, such as respiratory function indications. The dynamic parameters includes local information such as the time of day and/or geographic locations. The transmitting is performed using a mobile phone, a mobile 2-way pager, a wireless personal digital assistant or an Internet accessing device, and the analyzing includes mapping the data using a self-organizing map.

摘要： A system enables a user to communicate with another person via an external device, e.g. an audio, video, display interface. The external device includes a short-range transceiver, a memory, and an output interface. The mobile device includes two network transceivers, typically a cellular transceiver and a short-range transceiver, typically Bluetooth. In operation, the user prepares and stores a list of external devices with assigned IDs. The user further stores a list of phone numbers (phone book information) of contacts on the cellular network associated with the external devices for delivery of messages to the selected external device(s). The mobile device scans the network, and detects messages from associated contact source(s). The messages are stored by the ID. When the mobile device is within the coverage area of the external device, the mobile device transmits the message(s). The external device interprets the message for output to the intended recipient.

摘要： A text message system in which a query-specific identifier is included in a text message requiring a reply. Replying takes place by accepting or rejecting options mentioned in the received query message, and the same query-specific identifier is automatically included in the reply message. When the reply message has arrived, a program in the terminal of the originator of the query updates a table based on the original message for the replier's part in accordance with the acceptance information in the reply. When the query message is sent to more than one recipient, all reply messages cause updating of the same table. The sender of the query messages can read the reply messages in the normal manner, and through the reply message or the original message he can also pass to reading the content of the table, or a summary of the replies. The information contained by the reply messages of the query is seen in compressed form in a specific table, and need not be collected manually. The information contained by the table is also always up to date, even if the group to which the query is directed were large and the query process continued in a plurality of steps.
