The row numbers and seat letters are indicated on or in the indicators by paint, printing, engraving, inserts, illumination or tactile indicia. The indicators are conspicuous and easily visible to a passenger standing or walking in the aisle without bending or leaning over. Boarding of the aircraft is facilitated and expedited. Emergency evacuation is assisted by appropriate illumination of the indicators.

摘要： A passenger service terminal, for example in an aircraft, includes comfort and service components such as a reading lamp, a flight attendant call button, a loudspeaker, an air nozzle, an oxygen mask, an oxygen generator, and an optical display element incorporated in a separate support bail or support rod that cooperates with but remains separate from a passenger seat. An air supply duct and electrical and optical conductors pass through seat components. A bail or bow (8) forming a support, at least partly, frames the backrest and holds at least certain service and comfort components while simultaneously forming a privacy hood (19). Alternatively, side rods (8A) are arranged laterally and alongside the backrest (5) to hold lateral curtains (19A) also providing some privacy. The side rods are preferably hollow to hold an air supply duct, wiring and optical conductors. A seated passenger can easily and comfortably operate the service functions without disturbing a neighbor.

A connecting device or several such devices, for example stairs and/or elevators, interconnect the upper deck with the lower deck in positions to facilitate central access to a plurality of lower deck facilities. Supply facilities and sanitary facilities are arranged on the lower deck to provide additional seating space on the upper deck. Normally, sitting on a bed is not comfortable for extended periods of time. The present invention states a backrest arrangement which can be changed from a foldaway position to a seating position. The backrest arrangement can be hinged to a wall. In foldaway position, the distance between a lower region of the backrest and the essentially vertical surface is shorter than in the seating position. In this way the backrest arrangement can for example be attached to a wall beside a bed; in the seating position the backrest arrangement provides a comfortable and safe seat.

摘要： An adapter is connected to a probe tube of an already installed PEG probe, cut off above the abdominal wall of the patient. The adapter comprises a retaining member, supported by the abdominal wall, structure for fixing the proximal end of the PEG probe and structure for connecting a delivery tube. The retaining member is embodied as a separate piece, comprising an opening for the passage of the PEG probe, while the structures for fixing the PEG probe and for connection of the delivery tube form an insert piece, which may be inserted in the retaining member with a tight fit. The adapter is simple to manipulate and of a construction with a limited height.
