摘要： An optical fiber cutting device including: a rotatable blade including positioning holes; a first fastening member that is engageable with said positioning holes; and a second fastening member that is engageable with said positioning holes. When said first fastening member is engaged with a first one of said positioning holes, said second fastening member is not engaged with any of said positioning holes. Thus, the blade is fixed in a non-rotating state after being rotated by a predetermined angle.

摘要： An optical fiber cable covering removing device which can remove the covering layer of an optical fiber reliably and safely comprises a support member, a fiber holder, a fiber holder retainer which can move the fiber holder toward and away from the support member along the longitudinal direction of the optical fiber. The support member is provided with a cutter holder fixing structure which fixes cutter holders in closed position. The cutter holder fixing structure is disposed so as to be able to impart force to the first cable covering removing cutter and the second cable covering removing cutter formed on the cutter holder in parallel. The fiber holder retainer is provided with a fiber holder fixing structure which fixes the fiber holder in a closed position. The fiber holder fixing structure is disposed near the center of the fiber holder.
