    • A segment for a rehabilitating pipe is coupled to another segment in the circumferential and longitudinal directions of a rehabilitating pipe to rehabilitate an existing pipe. The segment has on one coupling surface a protruding part and a recessed part continuous with the protruding part and on another coupling surface a recessed part and a protruding part whose shapes respectively conform to the protruding part and the recessed part of one coupling surface. The protruding part and the recessed part of one coupling surface of one segment is brought into tight surface contact with the recessed part and protruding part of another coupling surface of another segment and interfitted thereto when one and another segments are mutually coupled in the circumferential and longitudinal directions of the rehabilitating pipe.

    • A rehabilitating pipe is laid inside an existing pipe to rehabilitate the existing pipe. Support members are intergrally connected to an inner wall surface of the existing pipe so that loop portions of the respective support members extend from the inner wall surface of the existing pipe. The rehabilitating pipe is assembled inside of the existing pipe by mutually coupling segments of the rehabilitating pipe in a longitudinal direction of the existing pipe by inserting coupling members through connecting through-holes of the segments and through the loop portions of the respective support members to thereby support the assembled rehabilitating pipe so that the rehabilitating pipe remains inside of the existing pipe after assembly to rehabilitate the existing pipe.

    • A method for lining an existing pipe uses a tubular lining material comprising a flexible resin absorber impregnated therein with a liquid setting resin. One end part of the lining material is radially spread to form cut pieces. The cut pieces of the lining material are laid on a flange comprising a flexible resin absorber impregnated with a liquid setting resin. The flange and the cut pieces of the lining material are brought into pressure contact with a surface surrounding a pipe opening of the existing pipe before a step of evertedly inserting the lining material into the existing pipe. The liquid setting resin in the flange and the cut pieces of the lining material is cured to adhesively fix the flange and the cut pieces of the lining material to the surface surrounding the pipe opening of the existing pipe.

    • A tubular lining material for an existing pipe is comprised of a flexible resin absorber impregnated with a liquid setting resin and is radially spread out at one end part to form a plurality of cut pieces. A flange of a flexible resin absorber impregnated with a liquid setting resin is stacked on the cut pieces and brought into pressure contact with a surface surrounding the pipe opening of the existing pipe before the lining material is evertedly inserted into the existing pipe. The liquid setting resin in the flange and the cut pieces is cured and fixed to the surrounding surface of the pipe opening of the existing pipe. Such an arrangement enables the complete sealing of a gap between the inner circumference of the existing pipe and the outer circumference of the lining material at the circumferential edge part of the pipe opening of the existing pipe because the flange is cured in conformation to t the surrounding surface of the pipe opening of the existing pipe.

    • Segments are linked in the circumferential and pipe length directions to assemble a rehabilitating pipe inside an existing pipe in order to rehabilitate the existing pipe. A plurality of nuts are secured to the segments along the circumferential direction thereof. A fastening member having a screw part is provided which is screwed into the nut to fasten a first segment to a second segment to which the nut is secured, thereby linking the first and second segments in the pipe length direction thereof. The position of the nut in the first segment is offset as viewed in the circumferential direction from the nut position of the second segment. The arrangement of the fastening members and the nuts is staggered as viewed in its entirety. This allows the connection strength of the segments in the pipe length direction to be made uniform.

    • A boring device is inserted into a lateral pipe to bore a pipe lining material inserted into a main pipe across the lateral pipe intersecting therewith and a portion of which blocks an opening of the lateral pipe that communicates with the main pipe. The boring device has a rotatable shaft, a bearing member for rotatably bearing the rotatable shaft, and a boring blade mounted on the rotatable shaft for rotation therewith to bore through the portion of the pipe lining material that is blocking the opening of the lateral pipe. A supporting member is mounted on one side of the bearing member. An inflatable bag is mounted on the other side of the external periphery of the bearing member. The inflatable bag is inflatable in the lateral pipe so that the inflatable bag and the supporting member are pressed against an internal peripheral surface of the lateral pipe.
