摘要： A molded article has a resinous substrate body, and an elastic sheet material, at least partially fused thereto. For molding, the pre-formed elastic sheet material is oriented so as to be in contact with a setting face of an open mold. Further, a molten resin material is injected into a cavity defined within the closed mold via a gate so that the cavity is filled with the resin material. The gate has a substantially thin, rectangular shape in cross-section, and forms a rib integral with and projecting rearwardly from the molded resin substrate body. The integrally formed rib is molded from resin material left remaining in the gate after the molten resin material is injected into the cavity.
