摘要： A controller of a fuel cell system performs cathode gas supply control to raise an average cell voltage of a fuel cell stack by increasing supply of cathode gas to the fuel cell stack, when electric power required to be generated by the fuel cell stack is equal to zero, and the average cell voltage is lower than a predetermined target voltage. Under the cathode gas supply control, the controller sets the target voltage when a predetermined condition indicating that crossleak is likely to occur is satisfied, to a value higher than a reference target voltage as the target voltage in the case where the condition is not satisfied.

摘要： There is provided a fuel cell system comprising a fuel cell including an electrolyte membrane, an anode and a cathode; and a controller configured to control a fuel gas supply part and an oxidizing gas supply part to supply amounts of a fuel gas and an oxidizing gas corresponding to a required power, to the fuel cell. During an intermittent operation that has the required power equal to or lower than a predetermined value and stops power generation in the fuel cell, the controller estimates a crossover amount that is an amount of the fuel gas moved from the anode to the cathode through the electrolyte membrane. The controller also calculates a supply amount of the oxidizing gas that is an amount of the oxidizing gas to be supplied to the fuel cell, based on the estimated crossover amount and controls the oxidizing gas supply part to supply the calculated supply amount of the oxidizing gas to the fuel cell. The supply amount of the oxidizing gas is calculated by an expression of: supply amount of oxidizing gas=crossover amount/2/oxygen concentration in oxidizing gas.

The fuel cell system comprises a fuel cell configured to generate electric power using a reactive gas; a compressor configured to compress the reactive gas and feed the compressed reactive gas to the fuel cell; a flow rate measurement unit configured to measure a flow rate of the reactive gas; a pressure measurement unit configured to measure a pressure of the compressed reactive gas; a power value acquirer configured to acquire a value of electric power consumed by the compressor; and a determiner configured to perform determination with regard to an abnormality of the fuel cell system and to provide an output indicating that an abnormality occurs. When the value of electric power corresponding to a value indicating the flow rate measured by the flow rate measurement unit exceeds a first set value, the determiner provides an output indicating that an abnormality occurs in the compressor in a case of (a1) where a value of the pressure measured by the pressure measurement unit corresponding to the value indicating the flow rate measured by the flow rate measurement unit is within a set range. The determiner is also configured to provide an output indicating that an abnormality occurs on a downstream side of the compressor in a case of (a2) where the value of the pressure corresponding to the value indicating the flow rate is out of the set range. This configuration allows for discrimination between an abnormality occurring in the compressor and an abnormality occurring on the downstream side of the compressor.

In a case in which a stop time is longer than a threshold time when the FC system is started up, after the CL is circulated through the radiator, the CL is circulated through the BFP at the percentage of 80% or more until electrical conductivity of the CL becomes smaller than a threshold electrical conductivity.

The controller executes a refrigerant leak decision process for deciding presence or absence of a refrigerant leak while executing constant rotating speed control for the refrigerant pump, and in the refrigerant leak decision process, with reference to the correspondence by using a rotating speed value acquired by the rotating speed acquisition part, the controller determines a power consumption threshold value corresponding to the rotating speed value, and decides that a refrigerant leak has occurred if a power consumption value acquired by the power consumption acquisition part is equal to or lower than the power consumption threshold value corresponding to the rotating speed value.
