摘要： A cutting insert includes an upper, lower and side surfaces and at least one leading cutting edge and a trailing wiper edge formed at an intersection of the upper surface with the side surface. A corner separates the leading cutting edge from the trailing wiper edge. The top surface includes a plurality of planar rake surfaces that extend inwardly and downwardly toward a seating surface of the insert. The top surface also includes a plurality of chip deflecting surfaces extending inwardly and upwardly toward the seating surface to form a transition zone between adjacent rake surfaces. The rake surfaces form a land angle with respect to a line perpendicular to the leading cutting edges. Additionally, a back wall surface extends upwardly from the rake surfaces to the seating surface to form a transition zone between the rake surfaces and the seating surface.

摘要： A cutting insert for a metalworking operation includes a polygonal body of hard wear resistant material. The body has a top surface and a bottom surface, and therebetween a peripheral wall including adjacent first and second wall portions. The intersection of the first wall portion and the top surface forms a first cutting edge, and the intersection of the second wall portion and the top surface forms a second cutting edge. The first cutting edge and the second cutting edge meet to form a high point which is adapted to engage a workpiece first during the metalworking operation. In one embodiment, the top surface of the cutting insert has a topography that promotes chip control. The topography includes a plain adjacent to the cutting edges, and a plateau on the plain, which is, located inward from the cutting edges. The plateau is elevated relative to the plain and has a sloped side.

A combustion chamber is separated from the cooking chamber by at least one wall, the combustion chamber including a burner. A circulation flow path is provided for delivering gases from the cooking chamber into the heating chamber and past the burner in the combustion zone to pick-up heat and combustion gases for delivery back to the cooking chamber to heat the cooking chamber. A flame protector located in the heating chamber in the circulation flow path upstream of the burner prevents gases moving past the burner from extinguishing the burner.

A rotatable output member extends downward from a top portion of the chamber. A pivot support extends upward from a bottom portion of the chamber. A food product rack is removably located in the chamber and is releasably connected to the rotatable output member for rotation therewith. The food product rack includes a frame assembly including multiple sides. Multiple tray supports are located along the height of the frame assembly. A bottom support extends laterally between opposite sides of the frame assembly and passes through a vertical rotation axis of the frame assembly. The bottom support is connected at one end to a bottom portion of one side of the frame assembly and is connected at an opposite end to the bottom portion of an opposite side of the frame assembly. The bottom support releasably engages with the frame assembly and is configured to be disconnected from the frame assembly without use of tools by manually reorienting the bottom support from a locked orientation to a release orientation. The bottom support includes an underside that is engaged with the pivot support.

摘要： An assembly for retaining a cutting insert in a pocket of a tool holder includes a locking pin, a spring disposed in the bore of the tool holder, a locking plate disposed in the bore between the spring and the locking pin, and a set screw for retaining the assembly. The locking plate is biased against a ledge of the bore to cause the locking pin to draw and retain the cutting insert in a direction such that the cutting insert is held in a secured position against the pocket of the tool holder. To release the cutting insert, a force is applied to the assembly to counteract the biasing force of the spring. The locking pin or the locking plate may include a flat surface that cooperates with a flat surface on the bore to act as a key to proper orientate the assembly in the bore.
