    • The embodiments disclose a method in AP for adaptive beacon transmission. The AP transmits a beacon signal through a plurality of beacon beams to an area. The plurality of beacon beams are grouped into a plurality of beacon beam sets. The method comprises obtaining a first statistical information, within a first period, based on times each of beacon beams in a first beacon beam set is identified, by any one of the at least one communication device within the area, to carry the beacon signal with the best reception quality among its received beacon signals, and adapting a frequency to transmit the beacon signal over each of the beacon beams in the first beacon beam set based on the first statistical information.

    • Separate aperiodic channel state information (CSI) reports are handled for static subframe(s), in which the direction of signal transmission is fixed, and flexible subframe(s), in which the direction of signal transmission is variable. A method by a UE includes receiving a trigger for an aperiodic CSI report as part of an uplink (UL) grant from a radio node in a static downlink (DL) subframe, where the trigger indicates a CSI subframe set, out of at least two alternative CSI subframe sets. An aperiodic CSI measurement is performed for a CSI reference resource in the indicated CSI subframe set, and the result of the CSI measurement is reported to the radio node. One of the at least two alternative CSI subframe sets relates to the one or more static subframes, and another one of the at least two alternative CSI subframe sets relates to the one or more flexible subframes.

    • The present disclosure relates to a method and device (10) for enabling downlink (DL) coordinated multipoint (CoMP) communication. In particular it relates to a method of enabling CoMP in legacy user equipments, i.e. devices that only measures and reports the channel quality of the link to its primary serving point. The method comprises the steps receiving the at least one DL channel quality measurement (SI), receiving at least one uplink (UL) measurement of the respective UL channels from the wireless device to one of the multiple access points (S2), and estimating a coordinated DL multipoint channel quality of a coordinated multipoint channel corresponding to one or more different coordinated transmission states of the access points, based on the at least one DL channel quality measurement and the received UL measurements, by assuming that the DL path gains from the multiple access points to the wireless device are proportional to the UL path gains to the multiple access points for respective access point, thereby predicting link quality of inter-access-points-coordinated DL multipoint transmissions from the access points.

    • Methods and radio network nodes (BS1, BS2) for alleviating interference on downlink radio signals in a victim User Equipment, UE (T1, T2), caused by uplink transmission from an aggressor UE (T2, T1). The interference occurs during a flexible subframe in which the direction of signal transmission is variable between uplink and downlink in different radio frames. A first radio network node (BS1) detects (4:1) that a first UE (T1) that is served by the first radio network node (BS1) is one of the victim and aggressor UEs. The first radio network node (BS1) identifies (4:2) a second radio network node (BS2) employing a subframe scheme such that uplink transmission from the aggressor UE may overlap at least partly with downlink reception in the victim UE during the flexible subframe. The first radio network node (BS1) sends (4:3) a notification to the second radio network node, indicating that the first UE is served by the first radio network node. The second radio network node (BS2) is thereby triggered to execute (4:5) an interference mitigation action for alleviating the interference when serving a second UE (T2) being the other one of the victim and aggressor UEs.
