摘要： A method of selectively blocking harmful P2P traffic on a network is provided. The method includes: (a) determining whether data transmitted to and from external terminals through the network is P2P traffic; (b) when it is determined that the data is P2P traffic, determining whether the transmitted and received P2P traffic is harmful; (c) when it is determined that the traffic is harmful, blocking the P2P traffic transmitted to and from the external terminals. Therefore, to block harmful P2P traffic distributed in the network, whether or not texts, images, and videos are harmful can be determined on a personal computer. Thus, the traffic can be checked and blocked in real time.
