    • A system controller of a color thermal printer obtains a density profile of an image with respect to a feeding direction of a color thermal recording paper based on density of a test print measured by a CCD line sensor, and then extracts a density unevenness component, which fluctuates periodically, from the density profile. The system controller relates the density unevenness component in one period to a rotating position of a feed motor so as to create a period profile of a driving pulse to offset the unevenness component. When recording the image, the driving pulse is given to the feed motor based on the period profile, so that the drive of the feed motor is controlled.

    • A film image input system is disclosed which provides an increased degree of feedom of design thereof, can be reduce the size and costs thereof, and can execute a trimming operation with ease. The film image input system forms an image of a developed still photo film 134 on a light receiving surface of an image pickup element 140 through a zoomable taking lens 138 and outputs to a monitor TV an image signal photo-electrically converted by the image pickup element 140 to thereby reproduce the film image on the screen of the monitor TV. This allows the system to be made compact and increases the freedom of design of the system.

    • Present invention provides an image print sheet printable in high accuracy without reducing productivity. After a lenticular sheet 101 and a reception layer sheet 102 on which a detection pattern 103 is printed are inserted in an attachment apparatus 110 from insertion openings, the optical density is measured repeatedly by a density sensor 111 while rotating and parallel-moving the lenticular sheet 101. When the maximum density is measured, the reception layer sheet 102 is attached to the lenticular sheet 101. In this way, an image print sheet 100 having the detection pattern 103 parallel to the longitudinal direction of convex parts 101a and coinciding with the vertexes of the convex parts 101a is produced. When printing on the image print sheet 100, the detection pattern is detected by a photo-sensor, an azimuth adjustment and a print start position determination will be performed. Consequently, printing with high accuracy is available.
