摘要： Electro-kinetic air transporter and conditioner systems and methods are provided. A system includes a pin emitter electrode and a ring collector electrode located downstream from the emitter electrode. A driver electrode, which is preferably insulated, is located at least partially within an interior of said ring collector electrode. A high voltage source provides a voltage potential to at least one of said emitter electrode and said collector electrode to thereby provide a potential difference therebetween. The driver electrode may or may not be at a same voltage potential as the emitter electrode, but should be at a different voltage potential than the collector electrode. This description is not intended to be a complete description of, or limit the scope of, the invention. 摘要： An air transporter-conditioner device comprising: an elongated housing having a bottom, a top and an elongated side wall, the housing having an inlet located adjacent to the bottom and an outlet located adjacent to the elongated side wall; an emitter electrode and a collector electrode; a high voltage generator operably connected to both electrodes; an impeller to draw air into the housing through the inlet and direct the air along the elongated housing; and a baffle to direct air from the fan toward the outlet. The housing includes a second elongated side wall and the baffle includes a plurality of deflectors positioned along the second elongated side wall. The baffle includes a plurality of elongated columns of varying lengths, wherein each column includes a deflector. The device further comprises a second inlet located adjacent to the elongated side wall and a germicidal lamp located inside the elongated housing.

摘要： A non-invasive tissue oxygenation system for accelerating the healing of damaged tissue and to promote tissue viability is disclosed herein. The system is comprised of a lightweight portable electrochemical oxygen concentrator, a power management system, microprocessors, memory, a pressure sensing system, an optional temperature monitoring system, oxygen flow rate/oxygen partial pressure monitoring and control system, a display screen and key pad navigation controls as a means of providing continuous variably controlled low dosages of oxygen to a wound site and monitoring the healing process. A kink resistant oxygen delivery tubing, whereby the proximal end is removably connected to the device and the distal end with holes or a flexible, flat, oxygen-permeable tape is positioned at or near the wound bed as a means of applying near 100% pure oxygen to the wound site. The distal end of the tube is in communication with the electrochemical oxygen concentrator and wound monitoring system to communicate oxygen partial pressure and, where appropriate, temperature information. A moisture absorbent dressing is positioned over the distal end of the tubing at the wound site and a reduced moisture vapor permeable dressing system is positioned whereby covering the moisture absorbent dressing, distal end of tubing and wound site creating a restricted or occluded airflow enclosure. The restricted airflow enclosure allows the out-of-the-way control and display unit to provide a controlled hyperoxia and hypoxia wound site for accelerated wound healing.

摘要： The Digital Addressable Lighting Interface (DALI) is a lighting control protocol that allows individual control and monitoring of each device in a lighting system (e.g. ballasts, emergency lighting etc), as well as groups of such devices. An improved DALI compliant Line Controller is described which may be advantageously used in a commercial setting. The sockets for both DALI lines and Ethernet are industry standard RJ45 sockets, allowing the use of industry standard cables (as compared to DB9 connectors which are not typically used in industrial settings). Further the use of RJ45 sockets enables the DALI controller to be SELV compliant, thus reducing the risk of electrical shock whilst working on the controller and advantageously providing a safer controller for use in an industrial environment. Additional modifications for use in an industrial environment include constructing DIN mountable slimline housing which extends along the DIN rail to minimise the footprint of the controller and increase packing efficiency on the rack, providing an externally accessible battery compartment on the top surface allowing quick and easy battery replacement without requiring removal of the controller from the DIN rack, and LED visual indicators on the top surface to provide status information and allow easy identification of a specific controller with a problem when mounted on a DIN rack with many other devices.

Self-cleaning mechanisms are disclosed including a mechanism that cleans the electrode(s) in a first electrode array having a length of material that projects from a movable member in the housing towards the first electrode array. As a user moves the second electrode array up or down within the conditioner housing, the electrode(s) in the first array is frictionally cleaned.
