摘要： The presently disclosed embodiments relate generally to layers that are useful in imaging apparatus members and components, for use in electrostatographic, including digital, apparatuses. More particularly, the embodiments pertain to an improved electrostatographic imaging member incorporating a thermoplastic material pre-compounded to impart conductivity to the anti-curl back coating layer and may also contain an adhesion promoter which provides a conductively and optically anti-curl back coating layer. The conductive anti-curl back coating of the present disclosure may be formulated to have a single layer, dual layers, or triple layers.

摘要： The disclosed embodiments are directed to a method for removing photoreceptor coatings from a rigid substrate, wherein the photoreceptor coatings disposed over a substrate of an electrophotographic photoreceptor, in order to recover it for re-use in photoreceptor manufacturing. More specifically, the invention discloses a photoreceptor substrate recovery methodology that includes the creation of an inner release layer over the substrate and followed by subjecting the rejected or used electrophotographic photoreceptor to a step of soaking in a non-toxic and environmentally-friendly stripping solution that separates the coatings from the substrate.

More particularly, the embodiments pertain to an imaging member comprising an anticurl back coating layer formulated to comprise a polymer blend of an anti-static polymer and a low surface energy A-B diblock copolymer polymer and an adhesion promoter. The embodiments provide an imaging member belt with the anticurl back coating that is electrically conductive and also substantially reduces its surface contact friction to help suppress/eliminate tribo-electrical charge build-up at the backside of the imaging member belt under normal machine imaging member belt operational conditions in the field.
