    • Computer-readable media, computer systems, and computing methods are provided for classifying search results as either of good quality or of poor quality. Initially, a portion of the search results, such as the highest ranked documents, are selected for evaluation. A level of quality for each of the selected search results is determined using a classification process that includes the following steps: targeting features demonstrated by the selected search results to be evaluated; evaluating the selected features to generate a level-of-quality score for each of the selected search results; comparing the score against a predefined threshold value; and, based on the comparison, assigning each of the selected search results an absolute measurement. The absolute measurement indicates poor quality when the score is less than the threshold value. Upon recognizing that the selected search results are of poor quality, automatically executing a corrective action that reformulates the issued search query.

The query is analyzed to determine whether the search query is a domain query. If the query is determined to be a domain query, at least one domain related segment is stripped from the domain query to generate a condensed query, the condensed query is tokenized into at least one token, and the token(s) is/are spell corrected to generate at least one query feature. The query feature(s) may be normalized to generate at least one normalized query feature. The query feature(s) is/are provided to an advertisement selector to be used to select one or more advertisements.

The image processor may computationally determine a region of interest in a scene sought to be captured, and set the parameters to ensure that the exposure parameters are set to capture an image of the scene with the region of interest having a desired brightness level. In an embodiment, pixel values of multiple frames (each frame with a corresponding set of configuration parameters of the shutter assembly) may be examined to determine the frame having pixel values with the region having the desired brightness level. The shutter assembly may be configured with the parameters corresponding to such a frame to provide an auto-exposure feature.

    • Systems and methods of providing information via a computer network responsive to a request are provided. Keyword terms including a content keyword and a geographic location operator can be received via a computer network. A geographically modified keyword can be determined from the keyword terms. The geographically modified keyword indicates a product or service, and indicates a geographic location associated with the geographic location operator. A search query can be received from a user interface of a computing device, and a geographic location term in the search query can be identified. A geographic location term in a search query can be matched with the geographically modified keyword, with the geographic location term being a variant of the geographic location operator. Content can be obtained and provided from a data processing system to the user interface via the computer network, for display at the user interface.
