摘要： To reduce the data processing load on a recording apparatus, an information processing apparatus and the recording apparatus cooperate to correct registration errors. The information processing apparatus divides a recording area of the recording apparatus into a plurality of partial areas and makes a first correction on a recording position of image data for each partial area; the correction is made for color data items and in pixels. The information processing apparatus generates image data that conforms to the corrected recording position, as well as setting information for controlling the recording apparatus to record the image data. The recording apparatus makes a second correction on the recording position of the image data in fractions of a pixel based on the setting information generated by the information processing apparatus and controls recording of the image data based on the corrected recording position.

摘要： A plate replacing system has a cassette capable of accommodating a new printing plate. The cassette is held at a fulcrum supported by a frame. A front end of the cassette turns about the fulcrum, and can contact and be retracted from a plate cylinder. Inside the cassette, an automatic mounting mechanism including long and short links and an air cylinder is provided for deforming the new plate so as to make a leading edge of the new plate bend. There is a gripping support side surface of a gap in the plate cylinder, which is parallel to the bend while moving a holding member, such as suction pads, which holds the leading edge of the new plate, from a waiting position to an inserting position.

The printing apparatus includes a first one-way valve disposed between the pump and the ink tank in the collection channel, the first one-way valve allowing movement of ink from the pump to the ink tank and blocking movement of ink from the ink tank to the pump; a circulation channel that connects the ink tank to the collection channel at a position between the pump and the first one-way valve, the circulation channel enabling circulation of ink from the ink tank, through the print head, and to the ink tank; and a second one-way valve disposed in the circulation channel, the second one-way valve allowing movement of ink from the ink tank to the pump and blocking movement of ink from the pump to the ink tank.
