摘要： A process for producing a core-shell toner is provided in which the toner has core particles containing at least a binder resin (1), a colorant and a release agent and shell layers which contain at least a resin (2) and with which the core particles are covered; and the process including the steps of (A) mixing a binder resin-(1) dispersion, a colorant dispersion and a release agent dispersion, (B) adding to a mixed dispersion thus obtained an agglomerating agent to effect agglomeration, (C) adding to core agglomerated particles thus formed a mixture prepared by mixing the resin-(2) dispersion and a metal salt to make the resin (2) adhere to the surfaces of the core agglomerated particles, and (D) heating core-shell agglomerated particles thus formed to a temperature not lower than the glass transition temperatures of the binder resin (1) and resin (2) to effect fusion thereof.

摘要： Provided is a yellow toner having toner particles each containing at least a binder resin, a colorant, and a polar resin, the yellow toner being characterized in that: the colorant is a coloring compound having a specific structure; in a microscopic compression test at a measurement temperature of 25° C., the toner has a recovery ratio Z(25) of 40 to 80%; and the toner has a glass transition temperature (TgA) measured with a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) of 40° C. to 60° C. and a temperature (P1) of the highest endothermic peak measured with the DSC of 70° C. to 90° C., and the temperature (P1) of the highest endothermic peak and the glass transition temperature (TgA) satisfy the relationship of 15° C.≦P1−TgA≦50° C.

摘要： The present invention relates a toner for developing electrostatic images, comprising: a resin composition, which contains a binder resin and low molecular weight wax, and a coloring agent, wherein the binder resin does not substantially contain insoluble tetrahydrofuran (THF) component, its chromatograph measured with soluble tetrahydrofuran (THF) component has a main peak in a region of a molecular weight of 2,000 to 30,000 and a subpeak or a shoulder in a high molecular weight region of a molecular weight of 100,000 or more, a ratio of weight average molecular weight (Mw)/number average molecular weight (Mn) thereof is 30 or more, the high molecular weight region has a crosslinking monomer unit as a component monomer unit and the binder resin contains high molecular weight polymer having a Mw of 1,200,000 or more polymerized by using both polyfunctional initiator and a mono-functional initiator. Moreover, the present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a resin composition for producing a toner.
