    • A self-closing valve assembly for installation in a dispensing opening of a container, a seal cap or the like, includes a first closure element having a domed wall portion of resilient material incorporating a passage-opening, said wall portion being resiliently deformable from a closed position into an open position under the influence of a first differential pressure force resulting from pressures acting on its opposite surfaces, and a second closure element having a domed wall portion for sealing the passage-opening when the first closure element is in its closed position. In order to balance the pressure prvailing in a container provided with the valve assembly when a pressure-increasing squeezing force is no longer exerted on the container, the second closure element is adapted to be brought out of its sealing relationship with the passage-opening in the first closure element under the influence of a second differential pressure force resulting from pressures acting on its opposite surfaces, said second differential pressure force being directed oppositely to said first differential pressure force.

    • A closure used on a beverage container has an outlet neck centered on an axis. The closure has a mount secured to the neck and a valve body formed with an outwardly open passage extending along a passage axis generally coaxial with the outlet-neck axis. This body is pivotally displaceable in the mount about a valve-body axis generally coaxial with the passage axis and outlet-neck axis between an open position and a closed position and through an intermediate position. Structure on the valve body and mount block flow through the passage in the closed position, allow free flow through the passage in the open position, and limit flow through the passage in the intermediate position.

    • The invention relates to a sealing/pouring combination with security seal, comprising a sealing cap piece (1), for mounting on a pouring piece (2) with a through passage (3) and for sealing the through passage, whereby the sealing cap piece has a cap circumferential wall (6) and complementary engaging means provided on the sealing cap piece and the pouring piece which come into engagement with each other during the assembly of the sealing cap piece on the pouring piece. The above prevents a movement of the sealing cap piece in a direction against that of the assembly direction. The engaging means on the cap are provided on at least one circumferential wall region (11), recessed in the circumferential wall of the sealing cap piece, connected to the cap circumferential wall with at least a pair of webs (12, 13) in the region of the circumferential ends thereof, of which at least one is embodied as a tear-off web (12). The engaging means further comprise a planar projection (10), provided on the recessed circumferential wall region (11), which may be brought to engage under an engaging connection (7) on the pouring piece.
