摘要： Flat panel displays (e.g., Smart TVs) can wirelessly broadcast their identity for discovery to users of handheld devices (e.g., smartphones) interested in obtaining additional data associated with programming displayed on the flat panel displays. Data can include video, text, audio, and identifying information needed to access related data from a remote server. An application can be downloaded and activated on smartphones that will enable them to see a list of available (discovered) flat panel displays (multiple screens, depending on venue) that allow wireless access to data associated with programming displayed (or previously displayed and stored in a queue) on flat panels. A flat panel of interest can be selected by the smartphone and it can access additional data (either directly from the flat panel or from a remote server once the data has been identified) and/or engage in an interactive session in association with the displayed programming or data.

A smartwatch can include a subscriber identification module (SIM), a wireless cellular data network communications module, and a short-range wireless data communications module. A registration module can facilitate registration of portable devices with the smartwatch to receive, obtain, and transmit voice, data, and text on behalf of the user from a network carrier through the smartwatch when the smartwatch is in communication with the network carrier via the wireless cellular data network communications module and when the portable devices are within short-range radio frequency communication with the smartwatch via the short range wireless data communications module. Smartwatch users can be authenticated to use the smartwatch, access carrier networks, and register portable devices via biometric means including voice recognition, skin analysis, and recognition, or a combination of measurements.

摘要： A fluid powered electrical generator system for hydroelectric use or mountable to the side of vertical, man-made structures. The system can be rotatably mounted to the side so that as wind approaches and passes through the generator it will remain oriented to capture wind as it changes direction. The system includes a tubular housing that can also include PV material. A fixed helical vane can be formed onto an inner surface of the tubular housing in a spiral and direct wind more directly onto a fan blade assembly located within the tubular housing before an exhaust. A cone can be mounted at the center and front of a fan blade assembly facing wind passing through the tubular housing. Wind can experience compression between the generator cone and housing resulting in increased pressure and velocity, thereby increasing rotational speed of generator blades as the compressed, spiraled fluid passes through and exits the tubular housing.
