摘要： A safe for valuable documents having a shell protection around the safe for impeding attempts to force an entry thereinto and processor unit actuated in response to damage to the shell protection to initiate a safe protection function. The safe contains a plurality of units for accommodating documents, at least one of which includes a portable safe deposit box that, when placed in the safe, can be electrically connected thereto. The safe deposit box has a protective shell and a destructive device designed to effect local destruction of documents contained in the box. The destructive device operates automatically in response to damage to the protective shell when the safe deposit box is removed from the safe and an attempt is made to force the box open. However, when the safe deposit box is placed in and electrically connected to the safe, the destructive device operates in response to actuation of the processor unit such that the protective function of the box is then subordinated to the safe protection function.

摘要： An arrangement for enveloping an object located between two heat weldable webs of enveloping material includes two coacting welding jaws for joining the webs together in their transversal direction on mutually opposite sides of the object. The welding jaws extend in the transverse direction of the webs, across the whole width thereof. One of the jaws is a wire-carrying jaw which supports a freely extending heating wire, and the other jaw is forked and has two legs. The jaws are moveable between a starting position on opposite sides of the webs, and a web welding position in which the webs are held together with the free ends of the fork legs in abutment with one side of the webs and with the heating wire located at the mouth region of the fork gap and in abutment with the other side of the webs. The wire functions to weld said material webs together and to melt-off the webs within the weld region. In the welding position, at least one of the jaws is biased by a spring means towards a further position in which the wire is located within the forked jaw, between the legs thereof at a distance from the mouth of the fork gap.

The arrangement includes a transporter 23 for conveying a bundle of banknotes in the collecting location either to an outfeed opening 62 or to a feed table 24 on the input side of the transport path. The transporter includes a roller chain 230 having a gripper 231 for transporting documents to the transport path, and a toothed arm 232 which coacts with the roller chain 230 for transporting documents to the outfeed opening. The feed table has a lifting device 241 for rapidly lifting a bundle of banknotes, and for thereafter lifting the bundle to an extent corresponding to the banknotes fed to the transport path.

摘要： An automatic banknote depositing apparatus has a housing (1) and a mechanism for transporting banknotes from an infeed opening to a cassette (11). The infeed opening is covered by one (14) of a plurality of insert devices when the apparatus is complete. The housing has a recess located adjacent the infeed opening to accommodate the insert device, which is provided with a plate (21) for bringing pressure to bear mechanically against banknotes, and a keyboard for controlling the apparatus. One of the insert devices forms, together with the housing an externally accessible opening (10c) for the manual insertion of banknotes. The insert device has a vertically displaceable bottom member (22) which, when occupying its upwardly displaced position, forms an inclined surface which extends down to the infeed opening. Another of the insert devices (40) incorporates a slatted roll-shutter (42) which can be moved automatically into and out of the body of the insert device and which when only partially inserted exposes a narrow opening through which banknotes can be manually inserted. When fully inserted exposes a large opening through which a cassette can be inserted. The pressure plate can be dropped down automatically in the bottom member when the slatted roll-shutter is fully displaced into the insert device.

The collecting station (15) includes two mutually opposing walls between which the bundle of sheets is clamped during the initial stage of transportation from the collecting station.The walls are provided with wheels or rollers which are rotatable about shafts and which co-act with each other, two and two, one on each wall. The shafts of all wheels on each wall have mutually the same rotation direction, which is dependent upon the desired direction of transportation of the bundle of sheets, and the shafts of all wheels can be simultaneously pivoted in one and the same plane, depending upon the desired transport direction. One wall is pivotally mounted at its upper end and the other wall is pivotally mounted at its lower end, this latter wall being arranged as a sheet removing means for co-action with so-called finger wheels, which are arranged upstream of the collecting station (15) and which project through openings in the other wall when this wall is swung to its sheet removal position.

摘要： An apparatus for dispensing bank notes, comprising a cabinet housing, a bank note store, electronic components, and a base assembly which forms a base for the cabinet and which can be attached to a wall or a floor of a room in which the apparatus is to be used. Cables extending from the cabinet are coiled in a recess in the base assembly and are drawn from the base assembly close to the wall in which the base assembly is fixedly mounted, in the case of a wall attachment. The rest pads are wedge shaped so that when the cabinet is rotated, it is initially lowered and then raised.
