    • A hybrid construction machine that enables to efficiently cool a generator motor, while suppressing an increase in the entire length of a power unit. A motor housing is provided with a bulging portion which is configured to axially bulge from the inner periphery of a motor side connection surface toward an engine over the entire circumference thereof around an axis, and to engage with the inside of an engine housing; and a coolant passage which is configured to flow a coolant for cooling a stator therethrough. The inner peripheral surface of the motor housing including the inner peripheral surface of the bulging portion is configured to come into plane contact with the outer peripheral surface of the stator. The coolant passage is disposed at a position axially displaced from the motor side connection surface.

    • A hydraulic control system for a working machine according to the present invention includes a regulator control valve for controlling an operation of a pump regulator and a controller for sending a control signal for changing a discharge quantity of the pump to the regulator control valve in accordance with an operation amount of an operating means. On the basis of the control signal, a secondary pressure in the regulator control valve is fed to the pump regulator. This system further includes a fail-safe valve disposed in a control line joining the pump regulator and the regulator control valve. The fail-safe valve has an ordinary position for sending the secondary pressure to the pump regulator and a fail-safe position for sending an oil pressure from a path other than the regulator control valve to the pump regulator in such a manner that a predetermined discharge amount is ensured. The fail-safe valve is configured so as to switch from the ordinary position to the fail-safe position in accordance with a failure signal indicative of failure in the regulator control valve. According to this, while adopting an electronic control system for the pump, it is possible to continue a work even in the failed condition of the system.

    • A construction machine includes: a work device; an operation device which receives a manipulation; a hydraulic unit including a hydraulic motor; an electric unit including an electric motor and an energy storage unit; a control device which makes the electric power of the energy storage unit assist the hydraulic unit upon the manipulation for the drive side, and makes the electric motor generate regenerative electric power unit upon the manipulation for the regeneration side; and a power-discharge command unit which issues a discharge command for the energy storage unit. Upon receiving the discharge command, the control device operates the electric motor to lower a voltage of the energy storage unit upon the manipulation for the drive side, and makes only the hydraulic unit decelerate or stop the work device upon the manipulation for the regeneration side.
