    • A charging connector adapted for connecting between a mated connector and a cable includes an insulating housing, a terminal and a shielding shell surrounding the insulating housing. The insulating housing has a base body, and a protruding portion protruding upward from a top surface of the base body. The insulating housing defines a terminal groove. The terminal has a locating piece located on the top surface of the base body. A front of the locating piece defines a contact piece disposed in the terminal groove with a front thereof electrically contacting with the mated connector. A rear of the locating piece defines a soldering piece disposed to a rear of the insulating housing to be soldered with the cable. A side of the shielding shell defines a soldering plate disposed to one side of the insulating housing to be soldered with the cable.

    • Techniques described herein perform network address translator (NAT) traversal using a peer of a peer-to-peer architecture in lieu of a server. A first peer maintains a list of public domain peers that are not hidden behind a NAT or a firewall and have previously been connected with the first peer. The first peer distributes the list to other peers via a gossip-based protocol. When a second peer desires to connect with the first peer, the second peer initiates a connection with the first peer and sends a request to a public domain peer of the list, requesting that the public domain peer instruct the first peer to initiate a connection with the second peer. By leveraging a public domain peer to establish a connection between the first and second peers, these techniques lessen the burden on the server of the architecture. Furthermore, because different peers may make requests to different public domain peers, the techniques allow for better scalability of the architecture.

    • The present application provides a battery pack locking device, comprising a button, a snap element for engaging the battery pack with an electrical appliance, a linkage controlled by the button, a spring provided below the button and a support. The snap element is hinged to the support at one end and the first end of the linkage is disposed below the button. When the button is pressed down, the first end moves down and the second end of the linkage moves upwardly relative to the first end. Also, the snap connecting portion moves downwardly in a curved path without squeezing the snap groove of the electrical appliance, resulting in decreased friction between the parts and a reduced force necessary to press down the button. Accordingly, the battery pack can be easily mounted to and removed from an electrical appliance.
