    • An imaging device of the present invention includes a solid-state image sensing device; a vertical transfer drive circuit for feeding a subpulse to the solid-state image sensing device; and a control circuit, and repeats a series of photographing operations in a cycle same as or longer than a period during which the series of photographing operations are performed, the series of photographing operations including an exposure operation for exposing an imaging area after the subpulse is fed to the solid-state image sensing device to sweep out electric charges accumulated in pixels. The control circuit stops the subpulse from being fed from the vertical transfer drive circuit to the solid-state image sensing device during a period during which the exposure operation included in the series of photographing operations is not performed.

    • The present invention relates to a negatively chargeable toner comprising at least a binder resin, carbon black, and charge controller, wherein said charge controller is a colorless or white in color boron compound, and wherein a melt viscosity curve of said negatively chargeable toner has an inflection point of a viscosity slope, an inflection point temperature (T.sub.2) existing within a temperature range of T.sub.1 +20.degree. C. to T.sub.1 +40.degree. C. relative to a flow start temperature (T.sub.1), a first absolute value (.DELTA..eta..sub.1) existing within a range of 4.0.times.10.sup.-2 to 6.0.times.10.sup.-2, said first absolute value. (.DELTA..eta..sub.1) being a mean viscosity slope within a temperature range below the inflection point temperature (T.sub.2), a second absolute value (.DELTA..eta..sub.2) existing less than 2.0.times.10.sup.-2, said second absolute value (.DELTA..eta..sub.2) being a mean viscosity slope within a temperature range higher than said inflection point temperature (T.sub.2) is less than 2.0.times.10.sup.-2, and a temperature difference between said inflection point temperature (T.sub.2) and a flow stop temperature (T.sub.3) being 5.degree.
