    • The present invention provides an amplifying apparatus including, two amplifiers for receiving input signals in common and for outputting their respective amplified signals, a combiner for combining the output signals of the two amplifiers and for outputting a combined signal, the amplifying apparatus which inhibit the distortion component in the output of amplifiers in the transition state. This amplifying apparatus comprises, a predistortion unit for determining a distortion compensation component based on the output of the combiner and for predistorting the input based on the determined distortion compensation component, and a gain control unit for attenuating the inputs to set lower than in the steady state by reducing the gain in the transition from two amplifier operation to one amplifier operation, or in the transition from one amplifier operation to two amplifier operation, or at the time of removal or attachment the amplifiers.

    • An image receptor surface which receives an image of a sublimation dye thermally transferred thereto from a foundation sheet for formation of the image therein, the image receptor surface comprising a thermochromatic layer. The thermochromatic layer is a layer of a thermochromatic ink, and contains at least either one of an epoxy resin and an epoxy acrylate resin. The thermochromatic layer reversibly changes its color between an image concealable color and transparence in a predetermined temperature range. The image receptor surface may be formed of any of various materials or articles such as metals, wood materials, glass materials, ceramics, plastics, fabrics and fibrous materials for any applications, especially a mug.

    • To overcome the drawbacks of a P(VDF-HFP) system gel electrolyte and a cell using the same, a polymer having a vinylidene fluoride copolymer as a backbone and poly-vinylidene fluoride in a side chain featuring good adhesion and exhibiting electro-chemical properties similar to the P(VDF-HFP) system without a crosslinking step is used as a binder for a gel electrolyte or electrode. The invention improves the adhesion of gel electrolyte to a current collector or electrode to reduce internal resistance; develops a polymeric solid electrolyte which is storage stable and capable of continuous lamination of coating layers; and provides an electrode which does not require an extra crosslinking step in assembly procedure, prevents positive and negative electrode materials from stripping off, and experiences a minimal capacitance drop upon repetitive charge/discharge cycles. A lithium secondary cell and an electric double-layer capacitor using the electrode is also described.
