摘要： Information is transmitted by a digital audio transmission line, which may include recording and play back from a digital audio disc, that includes information other than conventional two channel audio signals and error correction of the data transmitted in either direction between a user and a medium is provided. Information integrity is maintained by a first and second cross-interleave Reed-Solomon code (CIRC), in which a third Reed-Solomon code is overlaid on the CIRC code, whereby a sector is built from users words and protected by a quasi-product code, and then an encoded sector is divided into groups, which are group-wise presented to the CIRC encoder.

摘要： A private network system including mobile radio telephones is able to originate connection and terminate connection even when any of the mobile radio telephones are moved from one exchange where the position of the mobile radio telephone is registered to another exchange. In the private network system which comprises a plurality of exchanges for switching telephones, each of the exchanges includes one or more radio connection controllers for radio communicating with mobile radio telephones, and a plurality of mobile radio telephones connected through the radio connection controller to the exchange for switching, the radio connection controller has an area in which the controller can communicate with the mobile radio telephones. Each of the mobile radio telephones has detection means for detecting movement thereof from the area to a different area and position registration means, upon movement of the telephone to the different area, for reporting the position thereof to the home exchange through the radio connection controller, and each of the exchanges has determination means for determining whether or not a mobile radio telephone has moved from an area of radio connection controller contained in a different exchange and transfer means for transferring a terminating call to the different exchange when appropriate.

摘要： An intermittenceless switching system includes two speech path memories having sufficient capacity to store a single frame of data having a plurality of time slots. The incoming data is stored in one memory, while the outgoing data is read from the other memory. A control circuit continuously alternates the read/write functions between the two memories. A control memory is used to store switch control information. The system includes a buffer memory that is present between a data processor and the control memory to prevent switch operation during data transmission. The system also includes a monitoring circuit for detecting an indication bit signifying the presence or absence of data in the time slot.

摘要： A speech path switching method for use in a radiotelephone system suitable for a private branch radio exchange system. In the radiotelephone system, portable-type cordless telephone sets are respectively connected via intrasystem base stations each disposed in an associated location in the system and each provided with a radio transmission and reception function, a portable-type cordless telephone set in use for a speech transmits, in order to change a combination with a base station, a speech path switch request through a manual operation or in an automatic manner to available base stations existing in the proximity of the base station currently being linked with the telephone set. Each base station sequentially sends a response signal in reply to the speech path switch request such that the telephone set monitors a reception level of the response signal to determine as a switch destination a base station of which the response signal develops a highest reception level as a result of the monitor operation. The telephone set instructs a selective initiation of the base station as the switch destination via the base station having been linked with the telephone set. Thereafter, a speech is carried out via a speech path in a combination of the telephone set and the destination base station. With the provision above, a speech path having a high reception level can be manually or automatically re-established at a desired point of time in a short period of time.

摘要： A disc player, for reproducing program information from a disc on which the information is recorded as digital program information data accompanied by digital address data, comprises an optical reader for reading program information data and address data from the disc, such reader being selectively operable in a searching mode and in a playback mode, processing circuitry supplied with program information data to produce program information from the program information data, a detecting means that compares designated address data identifying desired program information with the reproduced address data in the output of the reader and system controlling means for controlling the reader to continue the searching mode until the reproduced address data match the designated address data, at which time the system controlling means operates the reader in its playback mode to read from the disc the program information data identified by the designated address data. Noise-suppressing means substantially prevents the processing circuitry from producing program information from the program information data in the output of the reader operating in the searching mode. The clicking noises and other spurious sounds produced by prior art disc players from the program information data read during the searching mode are thus prevented from occuring before the production of desired program information from the disc.

摘要： A mobile radio telecommunication system and method provide battery-saving receiving of mobile stations. The mobile station autonomously changes the period of intermittence according to the frequency of paging in order to reduce the power consumption of the mobile station. When there has not been paging processing for a fixed time, the mobile station autonomously prolongs the period of intermittence and reregisters a new period of intermittence. In case there has been paging processing, the mobile station shortens the period of intermittence. If blocking has occurred for paging from the cell site, the cell site incorporates blocking information into a broadcast signal, informs the mobile station of occurrence of blocking, and registers a new period of intermittence.
