摘要： A motor comprises a rotor made of a permanent magnet and pairs of yokes having pairs of magnetic pole parts arranged round the circumference of the rotor. The rotor is arranged to be pivotally carried by a bearing part disposed at one end of the yoke. A position detecting element which detects the magnetic pole position of the rotor is carried by the yoke. An exciting coil is wound round each pair of the yokes.

摘要： A relatively rapidly moving object is imaged with a sensor incorporating a rolling electronic shutter, while using flash illumination which is comparable to or dimmer than ambient light. This is achieved by utilizing a physical shutter between the object and sensor which is synchronized to the flash. Preferably, the physical shutter is also operated so as to be open for a time interval which is coextensive with the presence of the flash. Preferably, an optical mechanism is provided between the object and sensor which causes the image to be focused when the light is flashed and blurred otherwise. Preferably, an optical filter is positioned between the object and sensor, and this filter is constructed to transmit to the CMOS sensor light at the wavelength of the flashing light source but to attenuate ambient light.

摘要： An optical waveguide device 1 having optical fiber arrays 3a and 3b and a waveguide chip 2 connected to each other. Insertion holes 6a and 6b are provided for optical fiber holding members 5a and 5b comprising quartz glass or the like. Optical fiber cores of the optical fiber arrays 3a and 3b are inserted into the insertion holes 6a and 6b and are fixed with an adhesive material. Parts of covering optical fibers 4a and 4b are also fixed to apertures of the optical fiber holding members 5a and 5b with the adhesive material. According to the present invention, the optical fiber cores do not move inside the optical fiber arrays 3a and 3b in high-temperature or high-humidity environments. Accordingly, the use of the optical fiber arrays combined with the waveguide chip 2 provides a highly reliable optical waveguide device excellent in mechanical characteristics and transmission characteristics.

摘要： A loop material of a hook-and-loop fastener, comprised of a nonwoven base and a number of loops which are formed at least on one plane side of the nonwoven base. The nonwoven base is formed by accumulating a number of filaments or fibers. An antislipping agent is deposited at least on the surface of the loops, thereby the surface of the loops become uneven. Or, by deformation on the surface of the loops due to thermal plasticity, the surface of the loops become uneven. Due to this unevenness, projections of the hook material are difficult to get out of the loops and a hook-and-loop fastener having high joining strength is obtained.
