摘要： A system and method for analyzing and classifying digital images as color, black-and-white, black-and-white with spot color, monochromatic, or monochromatic with spot color is provided. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a digital image is received and selected pixel values thereof are transformed from RGB color component values to a lightness component value and two color difference component values. The selected pixels are analyzed with respect to neutrality based upon the two color difference values and are grouped according to lightness value. The sample population distributions of each of the two color difference values are statistically analyzed for each group of pixels, and an image classification is determined by examination of the resulting statistics and derivatives thereof.

The present invention enables a continuous linkage across the supply-chain-entities and changing of supply-chain entities in near real-time and ensures data integrity and data security, performs language translation, maintains a continuous history over time without the need for data conversion, and provides each entity within the supply chain the option of publishing their identity and data to the other supply chain entities. New fields can be added as needed for processes and materials. The present invention supports distributed data hosted on various machines by various organizations over a public or private data network.

摘要： A method of processing a digital image to produce an enhanced digital image including receiving a source digital image; receiving a rendering tone scale function wherein the rendering tone scale function is a nonlinear function that has an absolute magnitude slope in the middle of the function domain that is greater than or equal to the absolute magnitude slope at either extreme of the function domain; and using the rendering tone scale function to calculate a de-rendering tone scale function. The method also includes receiving or calculating an adjustment tone scale function; combining the de-rendering, rendering, and adjustment tone scale functions to form an enhancement tone scale function; and using the enhancement tone scale function and the source digital image to produce an enhanced digital image.
